lol, you save the municipality thousands of dollars by retrieving all those water runoff grates and replacing them where they were missing. You did your good civil duty of the day!
Love this guy's excitement when he find literally nothing it's mind blowing how much he love every find. Totally entertained with his remarks and questions.
OMG, that was Deja Vu of the metal files. I can just see the maintenance guys coming along the next day and seeing all the grates have been replaced, and they're scratching their heads...hahaha.
I absolutely love your videos! Thank you for traveling so far to bring us a new adventure. You were paying it forward by putting those grates back. Until the next one...
Hey Tyler good morning, it's good to see you. Amazing finds today. The city will be happy about you putting the grates back. It was probably just a bunch of kids having fun throwing those in the water. It's cool being on an adventure. I think that fishing lures and railroad ties are your favorite finds. Have a great day and be safe. Cash money baby. Looking forward to the next one. I think I am your biggest fan.
Can't beat that ,clean water !!!! Good for the lake but not for the magnet fisher ! Thanks for posting today really needed some good vid to watch Artic Blitz !!!
Great video fisher grate magnet fishing thats was so funny least you fixed the grates love the video you do find some weird stuff always outstanding take care my friend stay safe 👍🙏
So the fact that you went to my hometown in Escanaba for this road trip is so cool haha. I would magnet fish this spot all the time and catch those grates. The UP has so many good magnet fishing spots!
My thought: Idiots have been tossing these grates into the water for years, and the city/county has been replacing them for years. So the sum total of sunken grates is way more than the number of missing grate spots, and that's why you're finding them. Good on you to fill out the empty spots on the lakeside walk. :)
Aww all the drive time for so few finds, well other than the grates lol! Glad ya put em back for others safety. Hopefully what ever jerk that threw em in to begin with doesn't just come back by and return them too the water..
you did your good deed by finding them drain covers and stopped someone from breaking there foot or leg by stepping in the grain nice grips you got there on day 2
The grates were probably lifted and "tossed" into the water due to flooding during a storm surge or from debris lifting them from underneath and carrying them off. Kudos for putting them back.
lol 😂 you retrieved every one of those missing grates, that’s cool & funny! *Wish we could see the face of “Who’s in Charge” after seeing they’re replaced with the originals! Edited: Day2 Very first thing “New GloVes” Yay!.. CraZy how fast you can go through those…. Chk$’tree. 😄 Fun finds and fun time!
Great job not almost losing your magnet😆 nice new gloves too . The pliers are great find love it . The greats prob got tossed in by some darn kid with nothing better to do. Good video.
This is 2 funny. I said let's watch this video again, and I'm laughing my ass off. Every time you pulled up a grate I just busted out laughing because you threw so far out and managed to only find 1 grate each time. That was so funny. 🤣
Have you tried dropping the claw down where the magnet sticks to the wall to hook the magnet and see if you can pull it free that way? Might be a stupid idea but worth at least one attempt
I love RUclips. I've never heard of magnet fishing. I'm not sure how I got here. You need a pole with a couple nails hammered to form a v at the end to use as a guide so you can push the line away from the wall when reeling it in. Have fun! Hope you find a chest full of treasure.
It looks like they lost so many grates that they had to cement closed a section of the drain. Some people have no respect for things that don’t belong to them. It didn’t used to be that way.
I like to play the horses, a lot lol. True story, today at PENN NATIONAL 8th race the winner was FISHMAN. Didn't see it soon enough to play. Yes fact is stranger than fiction.🐎
Watching these videos makes me wanna go magnet fishing so bad XD esspecially in my city where its historicaland has some old bridges that used to be old railroad tracks!
By the way, on that railroad track you found last time, if I were you I would put it on eBay for sale. You can probably get more money selling it there than it's scrap value, figure out shipping price to be add that as well (FedEx or another shipper). Poor Travis, getting magnet stuck looks like a pain. People (kids/teens) probably think it is funny to throw those grates into the water. At least you are repairing the grates. Those pliers can be cleaned up easily, if you want to restore the shine get, and use last (use wire brush and coarser sandpaper first), some 1000 grain sand paper. It brings back the shine nicely.
@@leroyswanberg5917 Find your local railroad office, ask them where they take the used rails to be recycled. From what I have heard, they will sell them by the foot. Or go on eBay, I've seen a few on there.
Good job replacing the grates, that was very nice of you! Hey you may have been able to get the other guys magnet loose by tying your magnet rope onto his with like 10, 15 feet of rope up from your magnet and throwing your magnet out real hard and it would pull is away from the wall then just be careful not to get them both stuck to the wall when pulling them in. Just an idea... you also might bring a 5'or 6' long 2"x 6" board with a slot cut in one end big enough to get the rope in. put one end of the board against the wall and the rope in the opposite end where the slot is and let it hang out away from the wall. then when you pulll on it, it will be pulling out away from the wall to help pop it of the metal. again just an idea to save a magnet. I feel bad when you guys lose magnets... Great videos! good luck.
You should use multiple magnets and pulling machine you ate doing great work to clean water. 👏 Infact you should develop a formal NGO in water metal cleaning services.
Thank you all so much for watching ❤️ if you enjoyed this video today don’t forget to hit that thumbs up button! 👍 😊
Done
😀👍👍👍👍👍💖
Anxiously await every video !
Ok
Hahahahahaha.
lol, you save the municipality thousands of dollars by retrieving all those water runoff grates and replacing them where they were missing. You did your good civil duty of the day!
Yeah, I was gonna say the same thing --- nice to replace the grates where they belong; that's exactly what I'd have done if I'd been there :D
@piddy3825 whoever threw the grates into the water should be ashamed of themselves.
Love this guy's excitement when he find literally nothing it's mind blowing how much he love every find. Totally entertained with his remarks and questions.
The first spot..your saving people's ankles by placing the grates back.
Thanks for sharing
Does the theme to Gilligan's Island start to play in your head when he says 3 hour trip? LOL
Loved how public spirited you were in returning the grids rather than taking them for scrap. Keep on a fishing.
OMG, that was Deja Vu of the metal files.

Replacing those grates was oddly satisfying, sir
Park & Rec is gonna LOVE you replacing all their lost grates! 👍🏽

You'll be surprised how many fishes life's you save!! Taking cross contamination metals out!!. Good job..
Hey, you only needed one more grate to complete the puzzle. Looked like a great spot. Sometimes the worst looking spots turn out to be the best tho.
GRATE video. Would’ve paid 50 clams to see it. Glad you didn’t lose the 3600#. Thought for sure it was a goner.

Good Samaritan deed for the day. Great way to give back! 🥳
Hey 👋 it's the great grate guy, first it was bike guy, now its grates 👍🤣👍. That was fun... Be safe, be happy handsome 👍💕👍
That was hysterical! Thanks for putting them back.

Oh so happy for you guys. Totally breaks my heart when you lose a magnet cuz they are not cheap.
City workers walk by: “Oh, grate! And we just bought new ones.” 😂😂😂
😂
You did not seriously just spell great wrong

The grate rate is too damn high! 😂 Another awesome video, as always. Good to see Travis again!

What “grate” fun! Really surprised you didn’t find more, different, stuff. Still cool vid. 🇺🇸😎🇺🇸

This is so amusing…. You finding all the grates!
That’s where they store the spare grates.
You gotta find more bridges, those are were the goodies are.
You're probably are saving someone from breaking their ankle and stepping into that hole putting that grade back. You guys are so nice

Any day magnet fishing is a great day.
The piece of metal with the weird hole in it from the 2nd day is part of a padlock set up for like a shed or any door you need to lock

Your enthusiasm is awesome! Great fun to watch. Got my first magnet on order!
Nice job fixing up the dock! It's discouraging when you throw 30 times and nothing, but then you pull in one thing and it makes it worthwile.
Bro, I love your videos. It’s crazy the one where you went out on the boat where you got those forks😂❤
you did your good deed by finding them drain covers and stopped someone from breaking there foot or leg by stepping in the grain nice grips you got there on day 2
The fishers favorite word is juicy 😂😂
Fisher should've jumped down there to get the magnet from the wall lol
They are just fishing magnet

Thanks for putting the grates back. It would almost be like stealing them to take them when you can obviously tell where they belong.
You just entertain me a lot! Ha ha
Some grate finds lol. Another great video and awesome start to my day
Talk about civic service drain has been partially restored, now why did I find this so interesting?
that Railroad track that you found is worth quite a bit of $$$ on eBay , cut into pieces for anvils etc
It looks like they lost so many grates that they had to cement closed a section of the drain. Some people have no respect for things that don’t belong to them. It didn’t used to be that way.
