I know it's spelt "Cerulean", but it's pronounced "Se-rul-ian". "Se" as in "secretary". However, I'm British, so Americans may pronounce it differently. Thank you for this video, I now know what pigments I need. If you ever did end up making that video about Ultramarine Blue, I'd love to see it, anyone got a link? Keep up the good work.
I'm right with you. Puzzled as to why Cerulean Blue isn't used more for seascapes. I use it a lot,and,it stands alone for purity of colour. I sure sway towards "Brit" pronunciations!
I LOVE Bob Ross. With that being said… while Bob was on his death bed, this greedy couple (that used to record his episodes and was kind of his managers) persistently tormented Bob to sign the rights to his name over to them. Bob’s son says he could hear his dad screaming and cursing at these selfish people, saying, “I will never sign over the rights of my damn name to you or anyone!!!”. Bob had the rights of his legacy in his will in his brothers name until his son was old enough or ready to take over his legacy (and this was documented in the will). Well, the couple somehow convinced the brother to sign it over to that couple after Bob’s death in the 90s (before I watched the documentary I thought Bob died about 10 yrs ago). The couple didn’t announce Bob’s death, so ppl thought he was still alive… they changed the formula of his paints (using cheaper ingredients) AND a warehouse worker said they had men painting and signing Bob’s name!!! AND THEY HAVE ALL OF BOB’S PAINTINGS!!!! try to find one if you don’t believe me… these ppl are soulless. I won’t buy another thing from them.
I'm sorry but this was a waste of time, I finished this video and went to watch the next related video except there was no next video and the thumbnail picture was misleading.
Did you realize that you talked for 10 minutes (half the total length of your video) before you placed a drop of paint on the canvas? (Luckily, I did not watch, but fast-forwarded until you did so. By then I had of course totally lost interest. Sorry, you meant well, but...
Yeah man.....why do think think I haven't posted a new video in months? I realize I'm not the absolute best at it. Focusing only on painting at the moment. I'll come back to RUclips when I feel like I can offer something better than before. Appreciate the advice. ;)

For added info, Prounounce THAT blue....with an "S" ..."air'...ooleean" . Use it more. It is a beautiful blue for seascapes.

One shot beginning to end would be better. Glad I went to the end to see how it came out... found the video was incomplete
