The EF body’s is one of the best body’s styles ever 🔥 I always love them and I have 4 of them 1 wagovan 2 4doors and 1 hatch and I had them for a long time 👍 and one of my 4 doors I would never sell it because I have it for almost 26 years now and going and I call her christen 🔥
Beautiful car.Thanks for sharing the back story on the AMX.The 2 seat 1968 -1970 AMX collected hundreds of wins in the NHRA Super Stock classes.Hurst corporation modified 52 cars for AMC , making the cars legal for NHRA The cars were then sold though AMC dealer’s pretty much ready to race.The 390 cubic inch AMC designed engine had 12.5 compression ,cross ram intake ,2 Holley carburetors,Crane cam corporation modified the AMC cylinder heads,etc.

It was Drag Week 2016 because I have a photo of our cars together at the hotel and that was the only year I did DW with my Firebird. Can't wait to see the Civic back out!
My cousin that got me into hotrods had one he drove to work he died when I was 15 just b4 I got my license and could start going to the strip with him. But at his funeral a picture of his Honda popped up where he'd stuck the slicks off his fox body up beside it and made it kinda look like they was on the Honda so it's cool to actually see one on slicks. Badass ride bro

I had a little hot rod 1991 civic hatch. Front wheel drive of course. It was a quick little car. Fun as hell to drive around the city. But This thing is just too bitchin. I'd love to have one that was rear wheel drive, around 350hp. but instead of a drag car it could hang a corner at 60mph. Take it up to the mountains and rip sh:t up. I might build one like that one day. Those little cars are great.
I saw this on DW the year you apparently rebuilt it and was having electrical gremlins and never got to run good, Hope one day to see it run DW again someday

If pligram doesn't get a tv or streaming deal and start paying the top guys to run npk I can't see you guys affording to run that series unless you can sell enough merchandise or have a sponsor that will cover the expense or I guess if you're rich it doesn't matter but even then having to come up with a half to three quarters of a million dollars in expenses to run NPK is hard to do now if you're Ryan it's doable but he has a hard time and if you wreck the car you're screwed! A lot more cons than pros that I see when you have all these new races coming next year that pay a hundred thousand to three hundred thousand to win npk has got to step up their game or get a tv deal!
You think Ryan is doing it all out of his own pocket or anyone of the top guys are for that matter? They all have sponsors, merch sales and, in many cases, automotive businesses.
