  • There was some in there from factory... Not a lot. But some. It is so much smoother now.
This is probably best done with a friend nearby to help hold while you tighten.
    The dog says hello.
I was thinking maybe, first 300, or 500 subs get life membership at Wheelsville, come have a ride and a beer with me. Just a thought..

Good video! My bike will show up tomorrow and I am doing this before I even assemble the wheel and bars! I have a direct mount, stem, and other things to add. So the forks have to come out to cut the steerer tube anyways.Great job!

I cut my steer tube with it installed.

Cheers from Texas. Glad you got it back together and sorted. I've ordered custom supermoto wheel set for my mx4 but went with the warp 9 stem and stem lock. The aftermarket is coming along nicely for Talaria.

Jealous, Did you get ur Supermotos yet? how are they?

yes, I went to a 48 tooth rear sprocket and with the 17" supermoto wheels it is faster! I actually gained top speed and picked up torque and acceleration. I guess the added weight and momentum plus lower gearing. Gaining top end was sorta puzzling.@@wheels.3239

About to do the same thing to mine. After about a hour of riding mine feels like it sticks. Could all be in my head tho. Lol.

I haven't felt the need to do this. I did ruin my bottom bearing swapping forks and had to buy a new headset with the top and bottom bearings for like 40 or 50 bucks. They didn't really grease much from factory and I wonder if it's even supposed to really be greased up. Works fine as is.

I said this and then immediately went and tore my bike apart and packed grease in my headset bearings just because I enjoy tinkering with the bike

The pinch bolt on the top of the stem on my bike is stripped and I can't drop the forks to get at the bearings it's doing my head in, any ideas?
