Thanks Richard. A proper splurge on Logic 11 will be arriving soon. As you'll probably have noticed, I didn't want to get lost in the '11 things you MUST know about Logic 11' clamour. But there are some great new features I'm really looking forward to exploring with everyone.
If you want to take this up a notch, export the pattern as a MIDI file, then import the midi file into Alchemy's arpeggiator, which means you can now play and transpose in real-time.
Thank you JB for sharing this tip! Great tips for archiving patterns! By the way, you mind to share what shortcut you use (@10:50 - 10:52) to transpose the pattern from C to D ? Thanks again.
Excellent tutorial as usual Jono. Thank you. I have from time to time a strange behaviour when exporting to the Loop Library. Many time the "loop" - "one time" - "Scale" and "Key" are greyed out. No idea what is causing this. Sometimes it works (not greyed out). Very weird behaviour. Cheers, Hendrik
Thanks Hendrik. That is strange. Does it happen with a particular 'piece' of data - MIDI, Pattern or Audio? I'll do some digging this end and let you know if I find anything out, or come across the same issue.
@@jonobuchananmusic It does happen with Midi data. Interesting is that it is not the case on all tracks. When I move the MIDI in question to another track, it remains a problem. It seems that it is backed into the MIDI or is the header information of the MIDI. It is an intermittent problem, which makes it difficult to isolate. I have the issues on a Logic Pro releases. Hope this helps.
Looking forward to a Deep Dive on Logic 11 from you. I always learn from your videos, even the second time around.

Thanks so much. Option-Up/Down (up/down arrows) for semitone Transposition, Shift-Option-Up/Down for octave Transposition jumps.
