I could never be this real and free and unselfconscious… when I watch him it actually makes me feel better about myself. His music and performance style draws me in and rather than just enjoying the show it feel like he makes us part of what he’s doing… we become his music. It’s transformative.
Just what I needed from Daði, now I'm even more excited for London next April! :-D Here's some timings for those who want particular songs: 00:08 - Lag Sem Ég Gerði 02:14 - Skiptir Ekki Máli 05:35 - ...Baby One More Time (Britney Spears) 06:34 - Rydeen (Yellow Magic Orchestra) 08:26 - Hvað Með Það 14:33 - Kemur Þér Ekki Við 18:12 - The Birdie Song (The Tweets) 20:33 - Endurtaka Mig 22:49 - Where We Wanna Be 26:01 - Næsta Skref 29:54 - Hedwig's Theme (John Williams) 33:08 - Think About Things
I would never have thought that someone from the eurovision contest could make such an influence on me. Makes me wanna learn islandic. I missed the tickets in Poland, you,ve got too much fans now .
I'm so in love with him. He's talented af, hilarious, got lyrics and tunes extremely happy and inspirational, his voice and the way he performs are addicting to see and why not to mention, he's physically gorgeous too. Everything in him gives you such a positive vibe and there's no way your day can't gets better after hearing him 💞 thank you eurovision for open my eyes and let me realize what I've been missing all this time 😭
Umm... he's Icelandic and I suppose the height standards in all northern countries are made for taller people. Same as with Japan, where everything is made for shorter people...
@@iamrandomsauce As someone who lives in Denmark and stands at 5´2” (152cm) I can confirm this is true. Everything here is made for tall people, the average height for women is 175cm... I definitely did not think this would be as much of a struggle as it is before I moved lol, I can't even reach the thing to support myself on the bus.
@@claudiadelgadom God, I envy you so much! As someone who struggles to find clothes with a proper length of sleeves and pants my whole life, and who's usually the tallest chick in public transportation, at school or at work, it's quite annoying. I wish I was shorter...
@@iamrandomsauce Yeah I'm short in a tall people country and I can at least make my pants shorter, making them longer would be impossible. But I do have to do a lot of reaching. I used to have to stand on my toes to look in the mirror. But being shorter is generally easier for sure, I can also buy kid's socks, cheaper.
"which means 'the song that I made' and the next song, is another song, but it's still, a song that I made. It's just not called - that.". One more reason why I love Dadi
Senior Us Citizen. Ran across one of his songs on Spotify while making a playlist during COVID...Is This Love. I enjoyed the music and the pace and have been enjoying his work ever since. Hoping for many more years of enjoyment from his work. It gets me dancng every time I listen..never gets old. So Very Talented!

18:46 : Excellent, this is "la danse des canards" (the duck dance), a well known tune for old school parties in France! C'est très beauf, mais c'est cool !
omg love ya millions. amazeballs wowww gonna share ya to all the good humans in the west of ireland for our lockdown.. onwards and upwards ..legend xxx
anyone know they playlist names by chance? and WHY.....? Hasn't Dadi worked with Chris Christodoulou with a pure, and lyrical singer one time and see what kind of something they could create...and who their audience would be.....
this dude got down !! NICE MAN traveling to ice land soon to look around and found out there was a concert at the end of this month maybe ill be able to see
He's really good. He adds modernity and funk to sounds that came from bands like Depeche Mode and Erasure, who in my mind, are the real masters of synth/electro music.

There’s always a witty aspect to his lyrics. I love it.
I hope the whole world understands that we need to protect him at ALL COSTS.

how the heck does a guy who stands at over 2 meters tall manage to find places that make him look not so tall? bus must be made to transport moose
All the chairs look tall too. I’m 4’11”, in feet, he’s like over 2 ft taller than me!
