    Beautiful! The mold looks about the size as the one I use. Is that a 2 pound mold? Edit: I see you answered the question in another comment.😁

    That is gorgeous. What is the size of your mold and how much batter did it take to fill it? I am new to soaping and I am doing a lot of research.

      Thank you very much. This soap was made in a mold that holds a little over 2 pounds. My total recipes including the water was 45 ounces.

    Where do you buy your colors from? Beautiful colors ❤

    • @naturalifesoap
      @naturalifesoap  2 года назад

      I am pretty much a Mad Mica fan. Probably 90 % of my colors come from them. I order a lot of primary and secondary colors and then I mix and blend additional colors from the ones I ordered.

    Can you explain a good starter soap mixing ratio

    • @naturalifesoap
      @naturalifesoap  2 года назад

      The recipe I used for this soap was 11.8% castor, 24.9% coconut, 29.4% shortening, 29.4% olive and 4.5% shea butter. Soap recipes can be as varied as soap makers. I suggest always using a soap calculator to make sure that your soap is balanced but your ingredients and the amounts that you use will change according to what properties you want your soap to have. I use soapcalc to balance all my recipes. It’s a free app that you can download. I hope that answered your question. Thanks for the comment.

    Waoooo beautiful. If I want to attach some shells to the soap. There's any glue that I can used?

    • @naturalifesoap
      @naturalifesoap  3 года назад

      I use melt and pour soap as my “glue.” Heat your melt and pour and put a few drops on your embed. Press it onto the soap and hold it for about 10 seconds. Hope it works for you. 👍🏽

      @@naturalifesoap Hello there! I have another question . Why my soaps making my skin dry and why it burn too much in my eye. it make me feel scary because what if someone have a eye problem because of that? i will appreciate your answer.

    • @naturalifesoap
      @naturalifesoap  3 года назад

      @@marisoldiaz6850 All soaps will burn your eyes even the mildest ones. But if soap is making you itch, burn or dry then you probably need to check your recipe. You can run it through a clap calculator which you can download for online. It will help you make balanced recipes that are mild and moisturizing..

      Colors for this batch were Key West Blue and Astro by Mad Mica, Klein blue by Nurture soap and titanium dioxide. The sand was 24 karat gold by Natures Garden but they discontinued it. The sun embed is colored with Yellow Vibrance by Nurture soap. Thanks for asking. 🙂

      @@naturalifesoap i wanted to know formula......

    • @naturalifesoap
      @naturalifesoap  2 года назад

      @@poralekharadoun2550Got it. This recipe is 5.2 oz castor oil, 11 oz coconut, 13 oz olive and either tallow OR vegetable shortening, 2 oz shea butter. If you happen to be looking for a good formula calculator, try soapcalc. They have a free version to get started and then their pro app is only $5 but it is great for creating recipes because it gives you all the properties for each oil and you get to decide what you want your soap to do and how to feel. 👍🏽👍🏽
