    Julia, thanks very much for this tutorial. You are enthusiastic about gems, as am I. Regarding the manner of your delivery, twas mostly delightful. You may want to minimise your usage of word whiskers (i.e., actually). After a bit focusing became difficult because nearly every sentence ended with "actually".
    Just an observation is all. I will be viewing more of your tutorials when possible.

    38.33 I noticed "flaking" on the side of the synthetic Corundum Pavilion. Would that be a feature typical of a synthetic? Anyone?

    What is the transparent cabchon top made of? Is it Glass?

      srushti bodhe - it’s most commonly plastic nowadays - but glass can be used and in the past they have been made from rock crystal quartz :)

    I like man made stones and frequently buy them instead of more expensive all natural stones. I only care about how the gem presents, Of course now, after watching this, I will suspect all Jewelers . thanks
