Fun fact, the M42 riser pic is actually from a video of a famous airsofter playing with actual marines or navy seals, and he ran an MG42 with that thing, I was not expecting to see it when I saw that vid. It is a rad vid too, the soldiers kicked everyone's asses. And then there's a part of the vid about halfway in where they straight up get vibe checked by a clutch grenade so hard one of them yelped. All that training can't stop you from randomly getting vibed checked by a grenade, it's so true.
A bullet might have your name on it but a grenade is addressed, "To Whom It May Concern."
I love how if the P50 was functional, you've have to cut and replace that zip tie every time you needed to reload it.

whats the big deal, you carry one pouch with the ammo and a backpack full of zip ties too every time you want to use the gun! What, you never heard of shooting accessories?
It doesn't look all that impossible to 3D print most of what'd be needed to hinge and align+lock the P50 bits. No idea where to start on the bolt, etc. but there'd be room, and plastic works fine as a 'machine cover' for the gaps.

COD moved away from any sense of realism or accuracy after COD:MW (the original, not the new one..) and it looks like Battlefield has gone the same way.
The microtransaction, etc. is meta-real too. If you try to 'tacticool' on a budget, shit breaks, and literally 'Falls the F off'. The people that play mall ninja or put serious effort into 'tactical kit', also put utterly insane amounts of money into it. We're talking rigs that cost as much as a new car, and well-beyond. (ex. a 'legit' set of NODs can be $10k+, easy; or, a single IR LAM)
I realize that CoD gun customizations are getting more insane and jank than Fallout at this point.

You know what would be even better than cursed gun images? Making a cursed gun. You could set up a poll with the ten most cursed guns you’ve reviewed and you have to reproduce whichever gun wins the poll.

Take an AK, flip it over so now it's downward ejecting, bullpup it with offset sights, then sbr it so you get the maximum amount of concussion as close to your face as possible while taking hot brass directly into your nuts. Oh, and use a drum mag to block the offset sights. And add a huge riser with an optic.

Wish this series was around about 8 years ago when my buddys younger brother (18) decided to custom build a 9mm handgun in his garage with old hand tools. It actually fired a couple shots before exploding and almost killing him.

I'm normally am very bad at seeing how cursed the images are and rely on Brandon's explanations as to why everything's wrong. But when I saw that last image I could see, and wheezed "What the hell is that?!" in pure horror.
It's also just about as 'not safe for youtube' as you can brush against. If you don't know why, watch more ForgottenWeapons; you'll eventually understand.
You know it was a good cursed image if it leaves Brandon speechless.

For the belt fed attachement bit, there is the fight lite AR upper that allows beltfed and magazine fed rifle.
Finally, another cursed gun images video from my favorite, B teir gun tuber.
The riser at 10:30 is from an airsoft build, obviously the idea being that you don't have to fatigue your arms shouldering your mg42.

Brandon there is actually a belt fed conversion device for an rpk that is also cursed. It's called the rpk-74 spu. It was an experimental design so I don't know if you could get your hands on one but it might fit the "belt fed ak" niche better than the pkm?

When I saw that trench gun my heart legitimately skipped a beat, took me a solid ten minutes to fully recover.

Placer County is one over from where I live. I see that 2 of these masterpieces came from there. It's a rural county in the foothills as you head towards Lake Tahoe. It's not the metholopolis that Redding is though.
About 10:36, I saw once while in the German military a mg3 mounted on a back of a quad with EOD and magnifier added to the gun. The mount that was used to get the gun to shoulder hight for the gunner was from a dinghy( the metal plates that get added in the assembly to be exact, there is one of these plates that’s designed to mount the MG3 about 50-100cm high to shoot out of a dinghy). When used the whole quad just began to shake violently and the gunner hit nothing…
I was worried we’d never get another episode. 😂 I love this series even if some of them are painful

10:28 I recognize the riser. Its from an airsoft video of a group of actual army rangers playing.
Some of these with welded optics reminds me of the talk I had with a gunsmith about welding a rail on an old war gun. He said it's definitely possible. However you will need to heat treat it after since welding it will weaken the original heat treat and make the scout scope setup dangerous. All said and done the total cost would have been prohibitive vs buying a cheaper modern rifle chambered the same with the mount already on it.
