Nice methodology for analyzing forms. I'll have to try applying it to some forms I've learned. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

This is literacy for violence, this teachs people how to read forms. This is really useful

@@the.wandering.warrior I wish I lived close, I'd help you out. I've wanted to see the various kung fu styles take their proper place.

Wow, I almost gave up on finding quality Northern Longfist on RUclips. A Tan Tui analysis would be awesome 👌

Very interesting, not many people focus on the practical aspects of wushu anymore. I hope to learn much from my sifu and join the ranks of people like you. Our martial arts can still work, most people just didn't learn how.

Awesome work as usual brotha. Very well explained. Our version is a little different but, like most forms, there’s plenty of variations. I like a lot of the ideas presented here and they’ll give me some better ideas as far as interpreting and applying in sparring. Thank you

    Sorry, one more question.
Can you elaborate punching into the opponent's punch? How do you angle off their punch?
How do you handle feinting and the timing required? I love it but I'd love to see more about it. Thanks for the great video.

This would require a more indepth tactics/set-ups type of video, I'll think on it

Can you do a video demonstrating that first takedown? It's very different from say the single leg takedown seen in western wrestling.
