I don't even attend Winners' Chapel, but I love this Man of GOD! freeze, a few years before you embarked on this your mission, I had stopped tithing. Plus, I backed my non-tithing actions with scripture; quoting them out of context. Shortly after, my life was hell on earth... in short GOD showed me pepper. Nobody told me to repent when I had the last straw and almost died in a car accident. And glory to GOD, the windows of heaven have opened for me and I'm enjoying now, not even feeling burdened by tithing at all. I just feel sorry for whoever's listening to you. Churches are also supposed to be run according to the law of the land (Romans 13:1-5) as related to other organizations which means returns and annual audits ought to be done and made public. If you wanna challenge, request for such documents and data and make your case rather than 'jam-talking'. 5. I still stand on my point that there are scammers today, quite a lot of them btw. Now compare that pastor to other Pastors with larger congregations. That can only mean more gifts which automatically means more wealth for these pastors. They ain't gon be poor. Also, they're humans, some have their own businesses too. Being in the ministry isn't an excuse to be poor. I see some people making references that it's hard for a rich man to make heaven. True dat. But the reference didn't say impossible, did it? So, does that automatically mean it's easy or easier for a poor man, trust me, it's equally as hard as a poor man will also look for avenues to leave that state of his.. I don't think he's attacking any particular person. He can't do that because he doesn't have any solid basis, nothing to defend himself with. But, I don't blame Pastor Oyedepo; no one would expect him to open up and surrender to the truth, and risk losing face, relinquishing his present wealth and subsequent tithes from his followers. He's human too...come on. However, Daddy Freeze told the truth. His truth is like the rising sun, very visible to everyone who loves the truth; but not to those who have eyes and refuse to see with them. But, pastor Oyedepo could not defend himself well with facts and quotes from the bible to make it clear that tithing needed to continue in the new testament, or that anyone else other than those of the tribe of Levi are entitled to temple tithes. If you need to justify tithe in the new testament, call it another name, or create a new name and say it's a new revelation from God. It's allowed, after all no one was there with you when God spoke to you. Like I said, it's normal for Pastor Oyedepo to try to defend himself this way--it saves his face and retains his status. Only an angel from another planet can just say, "yes, what those guys are saying about the present church is true. I realise now and I repent of my ignorance. So, in restitution, I put down half of my entire wealth for A, B and C projects, and remain unattached to the proceedings, to serve the populace of Nigeria". No normal human can do that, except someone who has risen from the dead. So, everyone here should just save his breath (or his thumbs, rather) and use them for something better.

I don't even attend Winners' Chapel, but I love this Man of GOD! freeze, a few years before you embarked on this your mission, I had stopped tithing. Plus, I backed my non-tithing actions with scripture; quoting them out of context. Shortly after, my life was hell on earth... in short GOD showed me pepper. Nobody told me to repent when I had the last straw and almost died in a car accident. And glory to GOD, the windows of heaven have opened for me and I'm enjoying now, not even feeling burdened by tithing at all. I just feel sorry for whoever's listening to you. If Jesus was to preach to his followers, will he be preaching these kind of words even against his enemy. He prayed for his persecutors and asked for their forgiveness. Even the Pharisees, he criticise them about their worship and not about the attacks they made on him. The Church is named The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) while the university is The Redeemer's University (RUN). As far as I know they are separate organizations although some affiliations exist.
Money used to run RUN doesn't come from RCCG. Get your facts straight. This would be seriously against the law and would attract serious penalties.

10. If you as a person do not believe in the law of harvest, no problem. It's totally cool but trust me there are quite a number of people who do.
They believe in offerings, tithing and first fruits as an avenue to prosperity. These people including rich people and business moguls tend to gift pastors and men of God as they believe it's the key to getting and sustaining wealth.
It's their belief not yours. I personally know of someone who gave an estate to a Man of God. This Man of God wasn't rich prior to that. So, tell me, after the Pastor was gifted that, you expect him to stay a pauper and remain poor.
Except the witches & wizards dey do that particular pastor on a serious level. He's set for life. Now compare that pastor to other Pastors with larger congregations. That can only mean more gifts which automatically means more wealth for these pastors.
They ain't gon be poor. Also, they're humans, some have their own businesses too. Being in the ministry isn't an excuse to be poor. I see some people making references that it's hard for a rich man to make heaven. True dat.

But, I don't blame Pastor Oyedepo; no one would expect him to open up and surrender to the truth, and risk losing face, relinquishing his present wealth and subsequent tithes from his followers. He's human too...come on.
However, Daddy Freeze told the truth. His truth is like the rising sun, very visible to everyone who loves the truth; but not to those who have eyes and refuse to see with them. But, pastor Oyedepo could not defend himself well with facts and quotes from the bible to make it clear that tithing needed to continue in the new testament, or that anyone else other than those of the tribe of Levi are entitled to temple tithes. If you need to justify tithe in the new testament, call it another name, or create a new name and say it's a new revelation from God. It's allowed, after all no one was there with you when God spoke to you.
Like I said, it's normal for Pastor Oyedepo to try to defend himself this way--it saves his face and retains his status. Only an angel from another planet can just say, "yes, what those guys are saying about the present church is true. I realise now and I repent of my ignorance. So, in restitution, I put down half of my entire wealth for A, B and C projects, and remain unattached to the proceedings, to serve the populace of Nigeria". No normal human can do that, except someone who has risen from the dead. So, everyone here should just save his breath (or his thumbs, rather) and use them for something better.
