Thank you SOOOOO MUCH for pointing out this minor error which had MAJOR implications. The first thing that a trainer told me about the bicycle kicks was when I was bringing down one leg while the other one in a bent position, I wouldn't straighten out the leg going down. That was a HUGE difference once I started straightening it out. I really could feel the abs starting to work. And I could do 20 reps (10 per each elbow to knee touch). But then when I saw what you did with the twisting and then I tried it....I realized boy I was doing this wrong the WHOLE time. Now when I actually do the twisting of the core and keeping my elbows locked in position, now the burn is even MORE intense and now I can only 10 reps (5 per each elbow to knee touch). But I feel the burn 10xs more in the abs. Same applies also to the Russian twist with the ball (though I do it on a decline bench with my back lifted off and parallel to the ground). I too also noticed a difference there. I'll check out your website and look at the meal and workout plans and may try one out for the new year. 0:43 Jeff is telling the truth. Making a proper balance between calories intake and burning calories is the most important thing IMO. You can train as hard as as you want, but if your diet isn't properly made you won't see much improvements. Hence I would say that dies is more important than exercises alone, unless you want rock solid abs covered with a layer of fat... I am currently in my third week of following a diet plan I got from Dietarize. So far I lost decent amount of fat and my love handles are gone. Good thing is that It also comes with a home workout plan, so you could stay safe from coronavirus until you get your vaccine... :))
Which exercises are you doing? I finally found a killer and easy af diet aswell, and Im losing weight. I've got dumbbells so now I wanna use those bad boys to finally close this chapter. Any advice?
"unless you want rock solid abs covered with a layer of fat" And I took that personally For real though that actually happens to me,my abs are seriously rock solid but the lower abs are covered in fats
It’s good that there’s a fitness channel on RUclips this big that actually starts with “if you want abs, diet” because it really is mostly about diet at the end of the day
I understand you are probably intending the same thing as him, but he actually said something different. He said "not diet, nutrition". This is, of course, assuming that the word diet has only one connotation, but I think it is interchangeable with the idea of long-term nutrition. This is just me clearing up English for some people who might be confused.
Thank you, Jeff; for another informative and inspiring video. You are the top man for exercise & nutrition on the internet. Everything is practical and speaks to all types of fitness levels across the board!!!

A full body comparison of Jessie (past v present) would allow the viewers to make better judgment based on Jessie's split and exercise selections. Your viewers have been keenly following Jessie's progress as a benchmark for themselves, particularly the hard gainers.

This dude been fit my whole life I’ve been alive..23 years now.
Jeff always help me,
I do mistake in Russian twist without noticing, just like jeff said.
Thanks man
The tip for bicycle crunches is sooooo helpful. Also, now that I tried the sit-up technique that you do, it feels very beneficial.
Genuinity reflects in his action.....
I had love handles. Lost it through jogging and planks. Gained weight again, and love handles did not come back. Thankfully!

this video couldve been 3sec long arnold shouting "PUT THE COOKIE DOWN"
I read this as i was actually eating a cookie.
Arnie says to start with at least 200 crunches every morning...

ikr. so beautiful
I’m very glad I saw this. I put together my own Ab & Obligue workout and I’m glad that their almost the same and it works. I’ve lost 30 lbs. and 4 inches off my waist. The only thing I have to add are the hanging twists. Thanks!
I love how Jeff is like the only person who has to actually blur out their abs for the thumbnail!! 🙌
So appreciative for these videos because I can’t afford a program financially. These videos have had such a positive impact on me not only physically but also mentally. Thank you, Jeff, for the free (and quality) content.
Thank you for this tips. And thank you for giving correct advice . Giving out these tips are much appreciated.
The picture on the left was same as the second but edited and the 1st picture still didn’t have love handles and was in waaaaayyy better shape than most people. So imagine Jeff saying he has love handles. Impossible
I suppose I wasn't the only one pinching his own love handles while watching this video.
This is what I needed.... been trying to get rid of my love handles for years....
When Jeff writes an essay, he does one face pull after pushing each letter on his keyboard to promote external rotation and maintain a good posture.
I don’t mind having smaller love handles, but after a trip of eating pasta and drinking wine it’s definitely something to work on lol. Thanks for the tips
Thank u. I see so much vids that show the russian twist, but you talk with more Knowledge that is trust you more. The others really seem to ease it out... I Will keep doing it like you shown me.
Thanks for the tip on rotational exercise. I'm definitely going to put it into practice. I've had love handles ever since I can remember even as a relatively skinny kid where other kids in Karate class would poke them through my karategi. I do lift/train and have muscle mass just trying to finally get rid of these pesky love handles!
Sam here. Even when I was in peak physical condition, I simply could not get rid of those deposits around the lower waist, Can't wait to put this to practice.
Can u give us a update, in the same situation as well

jeff: you're doing it wrong!
Jesse go in there and show him how to do it right. *jesse spits on hands*
Bruh😂😂!!
This isnt even a joke lmao he does think people breathe wrong during ab exercises
Copied ✌️😅
😂 love it 😂😂😂
I FRIGGING LOVE THIS CHANNEL.... Everything I try from here works for me... Thank You to all. Stay on it to get it done.
Finally how to get rid of HATE HANDLES
Great video and info. You gave solid advice and didn't give a 10 minute video talking in circles about nothing just to route viewers to a page where you have to pay for a program. Not to mention all the dislikes are from haters cause this is SOLID advice. Thanks. I'm recovering from being sick for 2 years and trying to reclaim my bod. Definitely implementing some of these techniques into my workout plans. Thanks.

well said... 👏
Grateful to have found your video. Was doing bicycle crunch & russian twist wrong for months, but now I can really feel my obliques turn & burn 🔥thanks to your advice .
I love the clarification here! Important for people to realize "spot-treating" fat is not feasible!
Thank you Jeff! Your work outs are life changing and I love your channel and the great work you do to help others 🙏🏻
glad I could help
I like how that guy even did not bother to wipe off his washroom's dirty mirror and just snapped photos!
Jeff's methods are hard to argue against. It's just hard work in proper form applied to specific parts of the body.
Can't lose Love handles?
Just do face pulls

Jeff maybe it’s my diet. I go out walking while fasting I fast everyday my first meal is usually at 12. I’ll eat. Between 3 to 4 eggs with avocado 🥑 and Greek yogurt blueberries in it. Whole wheat muffin. And and half Bagel. And one cup of egg whites. I go walking up to 13’000steps. I’ve been struggling with my love handles for while now. I’m pretty skinny. Great vedio . I appreciate you’re vedio’s
Ever since I started doing facepulls, I’ve doubled my income and tripled my max bench. Thanks, Jeff!
For the obliques I’m doing the Landmine Wipers workout that I saw you do and I feel the burn in my obliques, that’s how I know it’s working. I’ll post back in 1-2 months for update on progress
Been 2 months did u keep.up?
THANK YOU for starting with nutrition!!! And then correcting the things you KNEW I was not doing effectively. Wow.
"Instead of counting reps, make those reps count." Damn, that is deep...
What this does mean?
It means those reps are dreading that bathtub full of pennies.

Any advice?
Does your nutrition still matter if you are a healthy 17 year old
"unless you want rock solid abs covered with a layer of fat"
And I took that personally
For real though that actually happens to me,my abs are seriously rock solid but the lower abs are covered in fats

thanks for sharing, I do follow keto and feel great, but I am following your advice about the kitchen. Mine is leaving VERY slowly!

Thanks Jeff, I feel vindicated after watching this. I wasn’t allowed to do broomstick twists in the army, because they didn’t think it did anything. Add it to the list of things the military gets wrong about fitness.
Very impressed with your video. I was waiting for it to finish and to have to sign up to something. Great insight and information there thank you.

Hello Jeff, greetings from India.
I hope you plan to dedicate a video on Jessie's gains since you fixed his posture. We would like to assess which of his muscles grew well and which ones he struggled with.
A full body comparison of Jessie (past v present) would allow the viewers to make better judgment based on Jessie's split and exercise selections. Your viewers have been keenly following Jessie's progress as a benchmark for themselves, particularly the hard gainers.
Jeff has great advice and teaches me alot of new things, but also he explains things that Ive always done right and it makes me appreciate having good coahes my whole life. Including Jeff!

When Jeffrey lets rip, he releases the sphincter in a slow and controlled manner. Focusing on the correct muscle tension for that satisfying release.
