- Shore fishing for sturgeon hits different! Lately, I have been fishing for these dinosaurs. They are such a beautiful creature. Catching on shore is much better than being on a boat ;). They fight so much harder in Stillwater condition than moving current imo. It was a pleasure to experience this. I am relatively new to sturgeon fishing, so if I can do it, YOU CAN DO IT!

Now that is proper catch and release. Don't even take him out of the water. Good job.
Thanks! Keep ‘em wet
Hey man I just wanted to say I appreciate the videos. I started targeting sturgeon back in February and used your videos for information and inspiration. Last Friday I landed an 8+ footer from shore. Tight lines
That’s awesome to hear! Congratulations on the fish 👍
Wow beautiful catches. Plus a great looking location. Much love brother.
Thank you!
awesome! where were you fishing roughly?? fantastic
Dude. Diving in after your rod? Absolutely heroic!
Haha it had to be done lol 🦸♂️
@@Go2fishingbc I know right? I can only imagine how expensive sturgeon capable gear is! But that move - especially if you landed the fish that pulled your rod in... definitely takes you from average fish tuber to Certified Legend. You're making miss the Fraser River man, cause where else can you land a bunch of 6 foot fish in a day and still go home pissed off that you didn't get the big one 😂🤙
Haha oh yes very pricy. Fraser river and the valley is definitely a blessing. Lots of fishing opportunities. Happy to be here!
Cool vid man, wild fishing, I like the music :)
Thanks for the new spot !!
So sick, man! Great video
Thanks!
Damn dude, this was wild. Seems a bit sketchy trying to reel those fish in off that floating dock though. I'd feel a lot better on some solid shoreline lol
It’s not bad at all. Makes it more interesting ;) I would love to catch one on a kayak next
Almost forgot this spot after I start chase sturgeon in the Fraser. It is nice to not lost any sinker there. There some giant there if the gate open. Is there way we can find out the when it open ? Good job.
Could be pretty slow here. And I have no idea when it opens. Thanks!
Good video. Thanks for sharing. Are you able to let us know your gear set-up? Size of rod, reel, line weight, and leader set-up? Thanks.
Thank you. I will make a future video for setup. I have 8ft shimano technium, penn squall 20 reel, 200lb braid, 130lb leader
Hey man! I'll be there by October to go fishing for salmon. Maybe you can bring me there so I can try and catch my very first sturgeon. Tight lines brother!
Awesome! Yeah man, let’s see how it plays out :)
@@Go2fishingbc I'll be there by October 10 to 15 hopefully to see you around at the Vedder and if there's a chance you can bring me out for sturgeon fishing. Thanks man
