    Where did you buy your 8/0 circle hooks? Great Video btw. I love sturgeon fishing, usually do it from shore up by Lillooet.

    Also, I've run into you a few times on the Vedder, Tight Lines!

    Recently found your video searching up shimano Technium and have been watching your videos! What’s the max weight you can comfortably throw on that rod I seem can’t seem to find any info on it.

    So you are suppose to set the hook at slightest tip movement?

      @Go2fishingbc  2 года назад

      It depends but I normally do. They bite really light at times

    Is there a season up there, and is there a daily slot limit size up there, for keepers? if so what is it?

    • @Go2fishingbc
      @Go2fishingbc  Год назад

      Season is all year but there are peaks. I am in British Columbia in Canada. It’s only catch and release

      Thanks, enjoyed your video. I grew up catching sturgeon, we used to eat some of them, they're one of the best eating fish. (I miss eating them). But here where I fish the waters are polluted now and the fish are no longer safe to eat, especially bottom feeders. That's beautiful country up there.

    You are using a circle hook but setting it like a j hook...

    • @Go2fishingbc
      @Go2fishingbc  2 года назад +1

      Didn’t know there was a “way”

    • @Sealutions1
      @Sealutions1 2 года назад +1

      @@Go2fishingbc DEFINITELY A DIFFERENCE in the way you use them... circle hooks are self setting... you are just suppose to reel once the fish takes the hook. J hooks are meant to be set as you did here. you can probably find a video on proper way to fish circles hooks for sturg.
