I made a fan trailer for Dark Fate using the classic Terminator theme if any of you guys wanna check it out and give me feedback. Thought it would be fun to do
2015 Has gone CRAZY. Avengers: Age of Ultron, Furious 7, Mad Max: Fury Road, Jurassic World, Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, now Terminator Genisys. Holy SHIT.
Warcraft, Assassin's Creed (though I think this film is about to be put on indefinite hiatus, haven't a heard a peep of news about the production or filming yet.)
I am confused as many of you are, but here's what I think on this. After john Connor saves Kyle Reese in Salvation, he sends a terminator many years prior to the first terminator movie instead of sending Kyle Reese, because if he would've done that, then everything would've repeat itself again and Kyle would've died again. So, he wanted to change the history and his past life. So he sends a terminator to train Sarah Connor and be ready when the first terminator gets sent back to kill her. But, Kyle volunteers to go back and fight with terminator to defeat the other terminator. Here's what I'm confused about, though. What the hell is T 1000 doing in this movie?
It's more of a meta film than anything. And it does acknowledge the previous films in the series the cast director and writer have said this film will lead to the end of the original storyline and open the door to new opportunities one of them being exploring the Skynet side of the world they've created.
Yeah they should have casted the Korean guy but he died in this movie. Robert Patrick couldnt do it in this movie cause of a bad knee or something. The korean guy did a great job as t1000 imo

DarksideJr I think it had something to do with the tissue covering the metal which somehow made it okay. I haven't seen the first movie in a long time so that might be wrong

or if they're going to continue the storyline, it shouldn't be this recycled time travel plot. but that's an improvement on the Terminator Salvation Future war storyline, where we see the events leading up to T1. The post-apocalyptic world, and the final war against Skynet.
Yknow thinking about it, the idea of Genisys didn’t need the added edition of time travel to 2017 in order to be awesome. Think about from this trailer you sorta get the idea that Skynet wised up and sent multiple terminators back in time. Fighting both the T-800 AND the T-1000 would’ve made for an AWESOME story by itself, add in the wrinkle of Pops being sent from ANOTHER timeline it opens up possibilities.
1:36- Why have they CGI'd 1984 Arnie when they can just take footage from the 1st Terminator movie (it's the exact same shot) and did they not learn from Terminator: Salvation that CGI 1984 Arnie just doesn't work? Jesus Christ. The first two Terminator movies are joint for my all time favorite movie and this trailer makes me feel so annoyed not just because it looks awful but also because all those references to the first movie and the franchise legacy in general that are trying to make fanboys drool is just embarrassing. And why are they trying to stop Judgement day again? That is the plot from 2, plus in 3 (which was a pile of shit as well) they say Judgement Day is inevitable so whats the point??!!!
It is the actual footage from the original it's just been digitally cleaned up from the original film print and optimized for HD that is why it looks weird and as for the plot it's obvious the resistance has sent way more people back in time before Kyle has proving that this film is not the first time loop. Salvation essentially left the door open for the series to go in any direction this is the path they chose though for obvious reasons

Well I think only the part of him kneeled down and standing up is original but then is blended with the new stand in as it seems they filmed new footage with Arnold killing that terminator there's only so many ways they can make that work.

But then again Old Arnie isn't much better I guess. I love Arnie and he was a big part of my childhood but he just made about 4 crap movies in a row
Apart from being the mother of dragons and fighting for the Iron Throne, I can clearly see that Khaleesi, can perform stunts as well as handling some terminator robots. Gosh!!! what a badass woman
Oh why didn't I think of that - remake Terminator 2, and just use new B grade actors, way too much CGI, and an old, grey haired Arnie! Yes, Hollywood, you just keep getting better and better with your old movies remade as new movies scam - absolute genius!!

Jai Courtney who's playing Kyle Reese may look a little older but he is in fact the same age as Emilia Clarke (Sarah Connor), both born in 1986. Also Emilia Clarke and Jai Courtney are the same age as what Linda Hamilton and Michael Biehn were during the first original Terminator, who were both born in 1956. Intentional or not, who knows?
The actress who plays Sarah Conner is the same age (even a few months older) as Linda Hamilton was in the first movie. People are just aging slower these days than they used to. Like people say the new fantastic four looks too young when they're all in their late 20s and early 30s.
Im biased to prefer Genisys than Dark Fate. Genisys was the first Terminator movie I ever saw. Plus Emilia Clarke became the Sarah Connor I fell in love with.
Watch 2:09 . where the car crashes with the bus! Pause the moment after crash. The first clip makes the car hit bus and bus rotates a bit and stops! The second clip makes the bus somersault!WTF!
I want to be excited, but is the T800 fighting the T1000 again? Didn't this just happen in T2? Is this... a reboot? I really don't think Hollywood would try to capitalize on the success of T2 so many years later by doing the same thing again? Right? ... Right?
It's an alternate timeline where Sarah was raised by a reprogrammed T-800 (old Arnold). Basically we're seeing the events of the first and second movie occur in this new timeline, but with this big alteration to the timeline that wasn't supposed to happen. I guarantee there will be a great deal of new concepts presented, but yes, they're obviously going to try and get people pumped up with nostalgia bombs like the T-1000 stuff.
New concepts and storyline really pumps me up. If you know a little bit about existence of multiverses and how it works, it should be an exiciting story waiting. Arnie comeback too, so no disappointment from me at all
The original script for the first Terminator was actually something along the lines of T2, with the T-1000 being the villain. However the technology to create the T-1000 in special effects form didn't exist in 1984 so he was held off until T2. My guess here is they're revisiting Cameron's original idea for the first movie but changing it around to be a new story. To which I say: Effing A that's cool!
This looks absolutely awful. like a parody of a parody. Old white haired Schwarzenegger leaping from a helicopter. Ridiculous CGI everywhere. The art direction is all wrong. The casting is terrible. And why are they just rehashing the same f*cking film again? Why does everything look glossy and digital. The story also doesn't make any sense . . . even by The Terminator series own warped time traveling logic. Okay Hollywood, time to listen - people want to see the future war depicted in the Cameron movies, we've waited 30 years to see it properly, Don't just slap a future war intro onto the film, and then rehash Terminator 1-3, the WHOLE film should be about a squad of soldiers trying to infiltrate skynet in an attempt to send Kyle Reese back in time, it should have the aesthetic of the future war scenes from James Camerons first two pictures & look like Cameron's early concept art - it should look gritty, it should be like the Terminator version of Aliens - a dark science fiction thriller - that's what it should be - not this pg13 popcorn rehash shit with bad wire work, bad acting and bad CGI everywhere. This looks like complete shit.
THAT looks like bad CGI? Lol I think you weren't watching the trailer then. And Salvation was an attempt at the war, look what we got. You can't try to make a movie like that, you might as well be asking for a Michael Bay explosion clusterfuck with worthless characters and broken physics. This is exactly what this franchise needed. Go back to the first movie, the GENESIS of the Terminator universe. Bring fans back to why we loved this story so much, but this time turn the movie on its head. The story is not that hard to figure out anyway if you use that thing called your brain. John Connor sends Kyle Reese back, just like the first one. They assume he's taking on Young Arnold and Sarah is unaware. But in this movie, the future Skynet( past the point of the war that we see) sends a T-1000 to try to kill Sarah again. To counter this, John sends an Arnold waaayy back to Sarah's childhood to teach her of her future and essentially make her a badass. They also kill young Arnold since "Old Arnold" is aware of it already. They also know about Kyle and thats why Sarah is there in an armored truck to pick him up, because future Skynet knows about Kyle and tries to use the T-1000 to essentially spawn kill him like Old Arnold does to Young Arnold.
In what way is he being crowbared? Why wouldn't you send an Arnie back to Sarah as a child so that she has all this time to actually prepare for the future. In a way the franchise is taking a more realistic approach to the concept of time travel. By this point in the timeline, they probably know Arnie's alone can't beat a T-1000. However, an Arnie with a badass Sarah Connor has a better chance of beating it. They get an even higher chance if they go and pick up Kyle before the T-1000 kills him ,which is exactly what they do
The reason why a lot of ppl hate the new terminator movie's because the detractors are just repeating the original story but with different formats and that doesn't even effect the next movie.
The Woke mob claimed Dark Fate, effectively killing the franchise.........who the Hell decided a Terminator would sell curtains and have a family? And how could his wife not know? The Terminator's wife, never thought that sentence would ever exist but here we are

I know the trailer was edited like that, but when the REAR of the minivan hit the front of the bus, and the bus flipped, I lol'd so hard I near pissed myself.
So 1 & 2 were awesome. Art at its max. Then they made John Connor a dumb-ass coward in #3, then they made a Terminator with human heart in #4, now they gonna redo the whole freaking story and BTW Sarah Connor looks like Ellie from the Last of Us. (The girl looks very nice but not as Sarah) When they are going to stop trying to make money out of greatness and just making in forgetful? Look at Die Hard #1 and #2 cause they were sublime. Do you remember anything memorable of the next 3 Die Hard sequels? I honestly think its the PG rating they make everything nowadays. A family friendly action movie. That doesn't even make any sense. Maybe its the younger audience got more sensible. Either way like the RoboCop (RoboCop has one human hand) remake I didn't even bother to check it out, Ill pass on this one too. Please don't ever remake, reboot or redo anything with Back To The Future movies. Its the only perfect three movies ever made. BTW we are in the year that Marty went to 2015 to save his son in the future.
***** Are you kidding me. The Robocop remake was awful. The director had a vision and wanted to make it R rated. Yet was held back by the studio every step of the way. In his own words "one of the worst experiences of his life". And so it was PG13.

I agree, they should come up with some original ideas instead of re-hashing past brilliance. This looks typically predictable and forgettable.The reboot of RoboCop was such a wasted opportunity. They'll release this shit anyway, hmm, along with all of the other robot films that are currently fashionable.
To be honest we are judging because same script lines from the old terminator movies and old arnie and bad cast this going to be terrible they even brought back that asshole cop! It is just going to suck
The one thing, we can all agree that is bullshit, is the fact that a mini-van, somehow can make a school bus do a front-flip, when colliding into it, complete disregard for conservation of momentum.
I'm not saying that I have high hopes for the movie but all trailers cut parts of movies together in non-sequential order most of the time. When the the bus hits the mini van it is completely absent in the next shot. There is a chance that the editor and director did miss that in post production but you have to see the movie about futuristic robots to judge that tidbit.
Oh yer the van disappears, didn't notice that the first time. i too am a bit sceptical of this film, it's look really interesting, however i would have prefered a film set in the future, with the resistance fighting skynet, or maybe a movie on how the rest of the world, is fighting skynet, etc. i hope this movie is a success, because we need a good one, to get the momentum rolling for the terminator franchise!
qurpexxx yep, i've got to agree to that, T1 and T2, were awesome movies, because they were made by Cameron, T3 was alright, i would say more comedic, than thriller, like T1 was. T4:Salvation was quite a good idea, of fighting in the future, because the idea of stopping judgemnet, is impossible, it is said by arnold in T3, when they are driving in the desert in the caravan, he states that judgement day is envitable and can't be stopped, only delayed, judgement day was orginially in 2007, then in the sarah connor chronicles it was april 2011. They need to move pass judgement day after this one, and focus on how TechCom,( the resistance), can defeat skynet in the future and how civilization can be re-created after such a horrible war, also i would like too know how the rest of the world, is fighting the in the war, at the of T4:Salvation, John Connor talks about how he defeats the LA HQ of Skynet, and how the battle continues for the rest of the world, that sounds cool, i want to know about that.
Is this a shot by shot remake of the original? I literally spotted dozens of references to T1 and T2 in this trailer. Hollywood was never known for being original...
After watching this trailer, I think to myself, what is the point in this film? It looks like a copy of terminator 2 but with more terminators. I feel like it would have been better to carry on the franchise, just cus they ran out of ideas they decided to reboot? I don't know, maybe it will be good, but I don't know if we're going to get anything like the first and second terminator films,
The way I would have done it is leading up to Kyle Reese going back. Where John Connor has to make the ultimate choice. Between destroying the Terminators and sending Reese back.

Just to clear up confusion. The terminator (Arnold) looks old because it got sent back in time a LONG time ago. And because of this the skin of the terminator aged. Not the terminator itself, but the skin. Yes, the skin is real skin. In T1 Kyle states that for T-800's (Arnold) the skin is "grown" for them. Meaning real skin. And in T2 the terminator states that he is a cybernetic organism that had living flesh on a metal endoskeleton :3
***** they usually don't finish all the CGI until about a month before they send the hard drives to the theaters which is usually about 2 weeks before release. My buddy was a projectionist at a local theater and they would send hard drives with the movies on them or have the theater download the data about 2 weeks before release.

Idk about you guys but it kinda looks like a reboot... which disappoints me because I want them to properly continue the story. Personally I think they ruined it after the 3rd one, its direction of the story just ... went idk where, I don't feel like the story plots are following the story anymore. Honestly tho I will admit I don't remember the last two at how disappointing they were.
waalex11 Well, from a Stratigic Stand point, this could still technically be canon, I mean Skynet would know if she failed to kill Connor in Rise of the Machines after she went back in time, because nothing would change, so what ever Skynet left in charge (I dunno much about any expanded fiction) Back in the war, would most likely start sending Terminators back to when Sarah was young, which a few frame in this Trailer hinted at (At 1:49 ) because she was more vulnerable, so John sent another Terminator to protect her (This would be after he sent Kyle, which started the Altered Timeline), which again makes sense because the 'Good' Terminator is old and has a few scars and since the T-1000 is already in the past again, it means that there was most likely alot of others that went to the past and where destroyed, so they had to upgrade, but yes there are paradoxes in this theory, like why hasn't the future changed yet, if it was altered already? Well, I could guess that with out Kyle, even the altered timeline would end with the same results, more of less, so Perhaps it will be Kyle's interference that causes the Time Line to change to a war less one, But hey, thats just a theory, A Wibbity Wobbity, Timey Wimey Theory, Thanks for reading

Gabriel Nadeau I still think that John Patrick's Terminator was the most unsettling of them all. It took me sooo long to get used to him as a good guy in The X-Files.
This was perhaps the most hyped I had ever been for a movie. The trailer was amazing... and the movie lived up above and beyond my hype. I don't know why people hate. I guess they cant follow time travel stories. Finally a time travel story that wasn't scared to go deep with the time travel.
I think with all the post T-2 movies being so bad this one will age better over time. Its slowly gathering a cult following and over time the plot has been the best one since T-2. I dont think people will see this as the least worst, but a movie that had some genuinely good moments and overall a good effort, because this is a great movie. A "great movie" but a good "terminator movie". And thats okay.
Halfway through this film and i CANNOT believe how mindblowingly trippy it is....wow...I don't know how it ends,but right now it's coming across as amazingly intruiguing sci-fi...a thousand times better than what I thought it would be...this is SO much fun...it's such an epic and multi-layered tale of timetraveling heroes,killer robots,and mindboggling sci-fi.....and Emelia is AMAZING...she's like the most gorgeous and talented thing in showbiz...she's crushing it in this movie...and Arnold gets to act a little more human this time around,which is fantastic character development for him,seeing as how he is an emotionless robot...he gets to be a little warmer,with a little more soul this time...which is perfect since he's now playing "dad" to a young Sarah...how badass is that?...he's playing "DAD" to a YOUNG SARAH...what an original and fun idea...this is so badass...ok I'm hitting unpause now...ok I'm done the film........AMAZING!!....IT WAS AMAZING...with a Very happy ending... A happy,satisfying ending....wow..loved it
This is still the original Terminator franchise. lol. It's not a reboot, it's a sequel. I'm sure it's going to be the same, except it might not be exiting as it used to be since this whole pattern to stop judgement day is all repetitive.

Skynet has time travel capabilities to. It's clear they're implying that time has looped already and has been for quite some time

or if they're going to continue the storyline, it shouldn't be this recycled time travel plot. but that's an improvement on the Terminator Salvation Future war storyline, where we see the events leading up to T1. The post-apocalyptic world, and the final war against Skynet.
Yknow thinking about it, the idea of Genisys didn’t need the added edition of time travel to 2017 in order to be awesome. Think about from this trailer you sorta get the idea that Skynet wised up and sent multiple terminators back in time. Fighting both the T-800 AND the T-1000 would’ve made for an AWESOME story by itself, add in the wrinkle of Pops being sent from ANOTHER timeline it opens up possibilities.
1:36- Why have they CGI'd 1984 Arnie when they can just take footage from the 1st Terminator movie (it's the exact same shot) and did they not learn from Terminator: Salvation that CGI 1984 Arnie just doesn't work? Jesus Christ. The first two Terminator movies are joint for my all time favorite movie and this trailer makes me feel so annoyed not just because it looks awful but also because all those references to the first movie and the franchise legacy in general that are trying to make fanboys drool is just embarrassing. And why are they trying to stop Judgement day again? That is the plot from 2, plus in 3 (which was a pile of shit as well) they say Judgement Day is inevitable so whats the point??!!!
It is the actual footage from the original it's just been digitally cleaned up from the original film print and optimized for HD that is why it looks weird and as for the plot it's obvious the resistance has sent way more people back in time before Kyle has proving that this film is not the first time loop. Salvation essentially left the door open for the series to go in any direction this is the path they chose though for obvious reasons

This is supposed to be both a sequel and a (standalone) reboot. ;)
It's an alternate timeline where Sarah was raised by a reprogrammed T-800 (old Arnold). Basically we're seeing the events of the first and second movie occur in this new timeline, but with this big alteration to the timeline that wasn't supposed to happen. I guarantee there will be a great deal of new concepts presented, but yes, they're obviously going to try and get people pumped up with nostalgia bombs like the T-1000 stuff.
To be fair, they never outdid the T-1000
New concepts and storyline really pumps me up. If you know a little bit about existence of multiverses and how it works, it should be an exiciting story waiting. Arnie comeback too, so no disappointment from me at all
The original script for the first Terminator was actually something along the lines of T2, with the T-1000 being the villain. However the technology to create the T-1000 in special effects form didn't exist in 1984 so he was held off until T2.
My guess here is they're revisiting Cameron's original idea for the first movie but changing it around to be a new story. To which I say: Effing A that's cool!

This looks absolutely awful. like a parody of a parody. Old white haired Schwarzenegger leaping from a helicopter. Ridiculous CGI everywhere. The art direction is all wrong. The casting is terrible. And why are they just rehashing the same f*cking film again? Why does everything look glossy and digital. The story also doesn't make any sense . . . even by The Terminator series own warped time traveling logic. Okay Hollywood, time to listen - people want to see the future war depicted in the Cameron movies, we've waited 30 years to see it properly, Don't just slap a future war intro onto the film, and then rehash Terminator 1-3, the WHOLE film should be about a squad of soldiers trying to infiltrate skynet in an attempt to send Kyle Reese back in time, it should have the aesthetic of the future war scenes from James Camerons first two pictures & look like Cameron's early concept art - it should look gritty, it should be like the Terminator version of Aliens - a dark science fiction thriller - that's what it should be - not this pg13 popcorn rehash shit with bad wire work, bad acting and bad CGI everywhere. This looks like complete shit.

You can't try to make a movie like that, you might as well be asking for a Michael Bay explosion clusterfuck with worthless characters and broken physics. This is exactly what this franchise needed. Go back to the first movie, the GENESIS of the Terminator universe. Bring fans back to why we loved this story so much, but this time turn the movie on its head. The story is not that hard to figure out anyway if you use that thing called your brain. John Connor sends Kyle Reese back, just like the first one. They assume he's taking on Young Arnold and Sarah is unaware. But in this movie, the future Skynet( past the point of the war that we see) sends a T-1000 to try to kill Sarah again. To counter this, John sends an Arnold waaayy back to Sarah's childhood to teach her of her future and essentially make her a badass. They also kill young Arnold since "Old Arnold" is aware of it already. They also know about Kyle and thats why Sarah is there in an armored truck to pick him up, because future Skynet knows about Kyle and tries to use the T-1000 to essentially spawn kill him like Old Arnold does to Young Arnold.

In what way is he being crowbared? Why wouldn't you send an Arnie back to Sarah as a child so that she has all this time to actually prepare for the future. In a way the franchise is taking a more realistic approach to the concept of time travel. By this point in the timeline, they probably know Arnie's alone can't beat a T-1000. However, an Arnie with a badass Sarah Connor has a better chance of beating it. They get an even higher chance if they go and pick up Kyle before the T-1000 kills him ,which is exactly what they do

I saw the movie today. I thought it was fairly decent, though I was surprised how little that T-1000 actually was in the movie.

So 1 & 2 were awesome. Art at its max. Then they made John Connor a dumb-ass coward in #3, then they made a Terminator with human heart in #4, now they gonna redo the whole freaking story and BTW Sarah Connor looks like Ellie from the Last of Us. (The girl looks very nice but not as Sarah) When they are going to stop trying to make money out of greatness and just making in forgetful? Look at Die Hard #1 and #2 cause they were sublime. Do you remember anything memorable of the next 3 Die Hard sequels? I honestly think its the PG rating they make everything nowadays. A family friendly action movie. That doesn't even make any sense. Maybe its the younger audience got more sensible. Either way like the RoboCop (RoboCop has one human hand) remake I didn't even bother to check it out, Ill pass on this one too. Please don't ever remake, reboot or redo anything with Back To The Future movies. Its the only perfect three movies ever made. BTW we are in the year that Marty went to 2015 to save his son in the future.

I actually enjoyed this movie
The one thing, we can all agree that is bullshit, is the fact that a mini-van, somehow can make a school bus do a front-flip, when colliding into it, complete disregard for conservation of momentum.
I'm not saying that I have high hopes for the movie but all trailers cut parts of movies together in non-sequential order most of the time. When the the bus hits the mini van it is completely absent in the next shot. There is a chance that the editor and director did miss that in post production but you have to see the movie about futuristic robots to judge that tidbit.
Oh yer the van disappears, didn't notice that the first time. i too am a bit sceptical of this film, it's look really interesting, however i would have prefered a film set in the future, with the resistance fighting skynet, or maybe a movie on how the rest of the world, is fighting skynet, etc. i hope this movie is a success, because we need a good one, to get the momentum rolling for the terminator franchise!

yep, i've got to agree to that, T1 and T2, were awesome movies, because they were made by Cameron, T3 was alright, i would say more comedic, than thriller, like T1 was. T4:Salvation was quite a good idea, of fighting in the future, because the idea of stopping judgemnet, is impossible, it is said by arnold in T3, when they are driving in the desert in the caravan, he states that judgement day is envitable and can't be stopped, only delayed, judgement day was orginially in 2007, then in the sarah connor chronicles it was april 2011. They need to move pass judgement day after this one, and focus on how TechCom,( the resistance), can defeat skynet in the future and how civilization can be re-created after such a horrible war, also i would like too know how the rest of the world, is fighting the in the war, at the of T4:Salvation, John Connor talks about how he defeats the LA HQ of Skynet, and how the battle continues for the rest of the world, that sounds cool, i want to know about that.
I can't wait for this movie to come out. It's going to be awesome!

Is this a shot by shot remake of the original? I literally spotted dozens of references to T1 and T2 in this trailer. Hollywood was never known for being original...
It appears to be an alternate reality. So some things from the original and t2 are the same but slightly different due to time travel.
After watching this trailer, I think to myself, what is the point in this film? It looks like a copy of terminator 2 but with more terminators. The way I would have done it is leading up to Kyle Reese going back. Where John Connor has to make the ultimate choice. Between destroying the Terminators and sending Reese back.

Just to clear up confusion. The terminator (Arnold) looks old because it got sent back in time a LONG time ago. And because of this the skin of the terminator aged. Not the terminator itself, but the skin. Yes, the skin is real skin. In T1 Kyle states that for T-800's (Arnold) the skin is "grown" for them. Meaning real skin. And in T2 the terminator states that he is a cybernetic organism that had living flesh on a metal endoskeleton :3

My buddy was a projectionist at a local theater and they would send hard drives with the movies on them or have the theater download the data about 2 weeks before release.

waalex11 Well, from a Stratigic Stand point, this could still technically be canon, I mean Skynet would know if she failed to kill Connor in Rise of the Machines after she went back in time, because nothing would change, so what ever Skynet left in charge (I dunno much about any expanded fiction) Back in the war, would most likely start sending Terminators back to when Sarah was young, which a few frame in this Trailer hinted at (At 1:49 ) because she was more vulnerable, so John sent another Terminator to protect her (This would be after he sent Kyle, which started the Altered Timeline), which again makes sense because the 'Good' Terminator is old and has a few scars and since the T-1000 is already in the past again, it means that there was most likely alot of others that went to the past and where destroyed, so they had to upgrade, but yes there are paradoxes in this theory, like why hasn't the future changed yet, if it was altered already? Well, I could guess that with out Kyle, even the altered timeline would end with the same results, more of less, so Perhaps it will be Kyle's interference that causes the Time Line to change to a war less one, But hey, thats just a theory, A Wibbity Wobbity, Timey Wimey Theory, Thanks for reading

This was perhaps the most hyped I had ever been for a movie. The trailer was amazing...
and the movie lived up above and beyond my hype. I don't know why people hate. I guess they cant follow time travel stories. Finally a time travel story that wasn't scared to go deep with the time travel.
I think with all the post T-2 movies being so bad this one will age better over time. Its slowly gathering a cult following and over time the plot has been the best one since T-2. I dont think people will see this as the least worst, but a movie that had some genuinely good moments and overall a good effort, because this is a great movie. A "great movie" but a good "terminator movie". And thats okay.

Halfway through this film and i CANNOT believe how mindblowingly trippy it is....wow...I don't know how it ends,but right now it's coming across as amazingly intruiguing sci-fi...a thousand times better than what I thought it would be...this is SO much fun...it's such an epic and multi-layered tale of timetraveling heroes,killer robots,and mindboggling sci-fi.....and Emelia is AMAZING...she's like the most gorgeous and talented thing in showbiz...she's crushing it in this movie...and Arnold gets to act a little more human this time around,which is fantastic character development for him,seeing as how he is an emotionless robot...he gets to be a little warmer,with a little more soul this time...which is perfect since he's now playing "dad" to a young Sarah...how badass is that?...he's playing "DAD" to a YOUNG SARAH...what an original and fun idea...this is so badass...ok I'm hitting unpause now...ok I'm done the film........AMAZING!!....IT WAS AMAZING...with a Very happy ending... A happy,satisfying ending....wow..loved it

This is still the original Terminator franchise. lol. It's not a reboot, it's a sequel. I'm sure it's going to be the same, except it might not be exiting as it used to be since this whole pattern to stop judgement day is all repetitive.
