Hi friends! Today I am sharing my favorite spring 2024 nail polishes that have come out for this season - I've actually got 13 favorites this time around, because 3 of them are not typical spring colors but I still wanted to mention them :) What is your favorite nail polish that was released for spring 2024?

It cracks me up every time when neutral polishes are described as "for the office."
Cuz..... Not me wearing my bright green multi chrome from Music City Polish at the office. 🤣🤣
Haha that's seriously amazing, I was lucky at my last job that I could wear crazy colors but my offices before that only let us wear "neutrals or pinks" (which tbh is kind of crazy that those types of rules even exist lol)

Kelli! I can really hear the difference in your voice since the surgery!! I have balloon sinuplasty with terbinate reduction this Thursday and watching your video really eased a lot of my fears and to hear the difference so clearly gives me positive hope that I can also have a normal non-mouth breathing life! Thanks again for that video, as polish related is your usual (which I also love) but it was just what I needed to hear and I can't be the only one who benefited from it.

oml miss kelli start with a spider plant or pothos they super easy 🥺 tomato plants hard AF 😭😭
I love that you have this much faith in me but I have already killed a spider plant and a pothos 🤣 I think it was easier to keep my old tomato plants alive because they were outside in the sunlight, I really gotta give it another try lolll
I bought the entire Sea-ing is Believing collection from Kbshimmer. I'm going to go ahead & call it & say that's going to be one of the top collections of the year.
I was given on orchid recently & I haven't killed it yet. They're surprisingly easy to manage.
KBShimmer really came out STRONG for the beginning of 2024 haha I'm so curious to see what else they'll create, I tend to like their spring collections the most though weirdly enough (because I'm usually a spring hater lol)
I always think orchids are stunning but they're a bit pricey so I'm scared to kill them for a lot of $$ 😂😂
KBS and Orly are two of my favorite brands so I always have favorites from them every season. That being said, I need some ILNP in my life!
I can always count on those brands to impress me haha!!
Wistful waterlily is an exact dupe for a shade my Grandma had when I was little in the 70s. She loved pearly duo chromes like this. She would have worn all the new finishes. That neutral Picture Polish color with the metallic red flakies reminded me of the fruit punch Jelly Belly.
If you're growing tomatoes, grow lavender beside them. They help each other grow and taste better.

Love queen of the dead but my nails are always warm I love the dark vampy colour it’s also thicker then most

Love this!! I don't expect much for Spring for polish, even though i love the season! My main reason for loving spring is bc I'm a forager. I can't wait to get out in the woods! This year all the brands have delivered on my personal inspiration (nature) esp Mooncat. These are alll stunning! Love your video!! Can't wait for Spring!!! 🌱
I love your choices. I always enjoy the specialty polishes either with shimmer, magnetic, thermal, anything like that. I’m lucky enough to work from home so I can make my nails as wild as I want to and don’t need to rely on those office safe dusty spring shades.
I didn't find that OPI Glitter one special when they released it BUT they did a short a couple of weeks ago where they layed a pink cream first and then a pink shimmer (I'm not sure if this step is important) and then Glitter on top. It looked SOOO pretty 🤩 And I almost never wear my pinks, so now I wanna buy Glitter to mix with EVERYTHING 😅

I tried to make the look myself but the closest polish I had to Glitter was A Woman's Prague-ative (also OPI) but it was too streaky for only one layer and with 2 it was too opaque 🙈

Great video, it's easy to forget polishes you love then don't buy them, I really loved the ILNP velvet collection ❤ now I'm remembering the Orly aura it just goes on, I'm wearing Queen of the dead right now, I had to wait a while for it but so worth it, I've got a gift card to use so think some ILNP velvet first, I'm supposed to be cutting down this year, not going so well 😂

HAHA. I'm the same way about random brands, like I don't want Revlon polishes because I don't love their cap, so I get it 🤣🤣
Not Kelli sneaking in an extra 3 polishes saying they’re not really spring! 😂 I think the reds were a Valentine’s/spring crossover from the brands. Loved Queen of the Dead, but my Orly base coat did not stop it from staining. Rogue Lacquer just dropped hints on a Jane Austen collection that could all be spring polishes.
Aloe is the most important plant to actually grow because if you cool a burn and apply fresh aloe it helps it not blister and swell as much.
Hahaha come on, you know I'm physically not capable of only picking 10 polishes 😂😂😂
Your descriptions are so perfect as usual. So fun to see you going through your "red phase." I'm convinced that all of us nail polish fanatics go through sooner or later. Maybe because back in the day, (before your time), that was it. Or the mercurochrome-ish clear. Then Cutex had this pearl white that was really pushing it. BTW, I'm old. 😂🤣

I feel you on the plants. The only green thumb I have is when it's painted that color lol. I wasn't initially drawn to Garden of Evil but the more I look at it, the more intrigued I am. The draw of the prugly.
I’m not a big spring polish lover but a couple of these are perfection! I’m a sucker for Starrily, KB Shimmer, and Orly so these polishes are awesome!! I have houseplants all over but my cats have knocked down so many that I’m about to give up. I’ve had them my entire life and don’t know what I would do without them!! I also have flower beds out front and out back so that’s my happy place all summer long! You look and sound so good! You definitely sound different but it’s a good different and I can tell you’re getting more air!! Air is always good!! 😂. Love you!! ❤😍😅💐

Snake plants (sanseveria) and zz plants should be your go tos. I have a horticulture degree and I manage multiple greenhouses at a retail nursery, and I’m a hobbyist at home too! I like to tell customers that they thrive on neglect. They can tolerate low light and want to completely dry out before watering again, like once every month in the summer! Fully soak the soil every time and wait till the leaves start to wrinkle before soaking them again.
Ooh, I love gLITter by OPI! It reminds me of Love Nectar by I Scream, still one of my all-time favorites.

My favorites so far: the spring collection for ILNP, Mooncat, and Holo Taco. I have them all so it’s nice to see that they are all represented in your video! ❤(Ps - I have a brown thumb too. I can’t keep real plants. 😢)
My favorite house plant is the golden pothos. I somehow have managed to not kill it. I just put it somewhere I have to walk by every day and water it when it looks droopy.
I did manage to keep my pothos alive for a record amount of time but eventually it died too LOL

Well my spring polish this year has actually been from that Orly collection. It's the mint green with the blue pearl (morning dew) and I've been wearing it over white for 3 weeks straight now 😂
if you're a fan of the HT crelly iridescent flakie formula, and the Starrily shimmer+glitter look, you should absolutely check out Emily de Molly. i think you'd love their polishes.
i've been mostly shopping and wearing destashes this year so far. i am starting to get into my bright spring greens, and ones i picked up last year, like Painted Polish Gilded Greenhouse.

Every time I see Starrily Shattered Mirage it definitely pulls me in, but I have yet to wear all of my ones I have, and I tend to wear a lot of purples!
Also currently looking at Cirque, as I have none of those yet. It is so hard to get to them all when you love them so much! Also have not worn my Painted Polish yet that I ordered….
It's tough to choose when there are so many pretty polishes haha!! I think it's time to shop your stash and try some new shades 😋😋
I've had luck with air plants, they don't need soil and even with an artificial light source mine seem to be good. I just soak them once a week or so.

Thanks for including non-traditional "spring" shades!🙏 Personally, this is the time of year I cringe at all the reds & pinks for Valentine's Day through to the endless (washed out on me) pastels (which I deliberately mispronounce as "PUS-tuls" because I dislike them so much).😉
So, no Orly Aqua Aura (spring) for me--waiting to see what their summer 2024 collections look like. Last year's Sweet Retreat (Smarties-coloured Breathable polishes) & 2022's Futurism (winter) collection are more my "paler shades"--when I'm not extending (sparkly) black & dark blurple Goth deep into summer.🖤💜💙🖤 My current mani is a skittle of A England's Ghosts (dark multi-chrome micro-flake[?]) collection (Dec 2023) ombréd with a wash of OrlyxNasa View from L2 over black for a good space effect! Gorgeousness in all lighting changes!
Luckily I'm past the stage of "office-appropriate" nails dictated by someone else. Now, I get to wear all the crazy nail art I want, enjoying how startled my fellow seniors look!🌈💅🤣 Lately, I've developed a taste for pricey Indie flakies.💅🤦♀ Oh dear!
Now's probably a good time to get into the indie polish brands that are based in Australia because they're doing more autumn/winter types of colors haha!!
@@KelliMarissaThx for the tip! But shipping from Oz (actually anywhere) to the UK is expensive these days (thx Brexit😞)! Also, US indies--happily available in the UK via a couple distributors--tend to be less seasonal than mainstream & even boutique brands.
I know you like Oz-based I Scream Nails, but I just cannot get over their obviously photoshopped images. I mean, who pastes an acrylic nail directly on their skin, well past any cuticle line?🤨Yikes!

I like the garden of evil from mooncat. Have you tried Lucid Dream from them it's a cream polish I think you might enjoy. Devil's card over black over black was beautiful. I fell in love with Queen of the dead

Kelli these ARE beautiful. You should take a look at reviewing the DAMN polishes. They are kickn’ - especially the Damn that’s filling ridge base coat - it’s the best I have ever tried and I have tried a LOT.
I have tried them before and really enjoyed them! I want to try more though :)

Have you tried devils ivy or spider plants? They're super low maintenance and and survive on with artificial light/lower light. (I have a co worker who is exactly the same; she tried a spider plant and has managed to keep it alive. 😂)

What do you think of the Starrily formulas? I got the Heartbreak Hues as my first order from them and I don't find them easy to apply. I love the colors, but I feel like they dry way too fast for me to apply, and I always end up with a messy manicure. Love ILNP, Mooncat and Orly formulas!
Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that's been your experience with them, I personally find them to be one of the easier formulas for me because they're so self-leveling! I'd say they're similar to the Mooncat formula tbh, did you order multiple colors? I'm wondering if it was a faulty batch!
Hi Kelli/other watchers! Have you seen/tried Morning Dew by ILNP? I just got it in a bundle and LOVE it, but everyone in my life hates it lol. Very much ugly pretty. Love to hear other's thoughts on it :)

Hey Kelli, I’m curious. Have you ever thought about or tried changing your nail shape in the past? When I first started doing nail art, I started out with square for years. But about a year or 2 ago I decided to go rounded and realized that they don’t break as easily as they used to 😊
I actually used to have rounded nails, funny enough! 😅 I do like them that way but I always end up going back to square haha
I would have had a couple of different ones, but you chose wisely. I'm not big on the thermals. They just never work out for me. I don't know how you narrowed it down to 13. I couldn't have.

I used to have medium length nails but it was too uncomfortable to put in and remove my contact lenses so I've kept them short ever since!

I currently have about 15-20 plants because I just re-potted some of the offshoots. It really sounds like the light situation is the problem for your plants. 🙈🪴
