- We are at Kirkenes Høybuktmoen Airport (KKN/ENKR), where we see the full start-up, taxi, take-off on RW06, and manually flown departure from the cockpit of a Norwegian Air Shuttle Boeing 737-800. The 2 hour flight was going to Oslo Gardermoen (OSL/ENGM). Enjoy the view from the jump seat. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome.

Great looking takeoff
Dude, the F/O is a captain now! I think I've seen him on my flight.
He is indeed a Captain now.
@@FL92002 Did you fly to Prague on 9th August?
No
@@FL92002 I mean the captain
Excellent
Nice takeoff!
Ola er hyggelig å fly med! En av mine beste kamerater, mye ute å flyr med han :)
Både fra cockpit og i cabinen :)
Fin takeoff!
Awesome video =D
a masterpiece. manual takeoff. great pilot
@@EinkOLED Pilots usually activate AP at like 3000ft after takeoff at most usually, where did you get your info..
Bra video, gøy å se litt manuell flyving. Hadde vært kult om du hadde koblet deg på intercom så kunne man hørt hva som ble sagt. :)
Very nice video. Subscribed
Good crew
The CRM and overall cockpit teamwork was so smooth especially at engine start its like they could read each others minds
Did you start the wrong engine earlier?
Nice. How did you get inside the cockpit? you had relatives or just asked?
Jumpseat
No airspeed match check on takeoff (e.g., 80kts - check)?! ... Odd. That's an important check. Airspeed indicator mismatch have been the cause of accidents!
I heard it but it was very quiet ,i wasnt supposed to heard it because the plane is very noisy, you heard the beautiful and loud sound of the nose gear its not a flight simulator.
Pilots wear a head set with a mic for a reason...
Always think before judging
@@Hk-uw8my, indeed. How can we ever punish such false accusers enough?
No callouts?
Валерий Бердыев Call-outs are optimal for the airline to install onto the aircraft. Just like the HGS is optional.
@@GarryWan666 But usually the Pilot not flying says the call outs when the plane doesn´t have them.
Areyou deaf? The plane said V1
FASCYNUJĄCE, lubię patrzeć na pracę pilotów, a guziczków tyle,że mbie się w głowie kreci,ZDOLNIACHY 👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍
*Jump seat passengers...to pilots*
*Are you guys ready???*
Why start enggine nombor two the first time ?
That is different procedure from company to company.
Busmar Simulation no it’s not... read my comment to see why
Engine 2 is always started first by ALL operators of the 737. It is done because DC power to the aircraft can be given by the use of engine 2. This means, that engine 1 is not needed for systems to work, and for displays to be powered. However, after landing, if a single engine taxi is to be performed, engine 2 is shut down and engine 1 is operable, as the use of the APU provides the missing DC power that engine 2 would be supplying. Also, engine 2 allows the hydraulics (especially electrical hydraulics) to function properly as the DC power is being supplied.
@@Samjones11203 2 also controls hydraulics
@@Samjones11203 but You have ac power from apu during engine start and via inverters you have dc power . So not sure if that theory is true.
His trim adjustments every second were getting a little annoying.
Yes, he is using the trim to fly the plane, his hands put on the control wheel is not correct, especially the left hand grip the control wheel position is not correct,
EinkOLED totally agree. Trim for effect.
Oh well, he is a pilot tho. As long as it is done SAFE, then we shouldnt worry about how he are holding it (Just like driving a car). Every person will get some "Bad habits" to their likings. It is called being human. :)
(And if it was SO bad it was a danger to the plane or the crew/passengers he wouldnt be flying)
@@Gtapolice123 I agree with you, the trim is there for a reason, and the pilot is there for a reason👍
