- As I mentioned before, I got a set of #KnotsLanding opening mocks that were posted here on YT a long time ago by an unknown channel which has been deleted for a very long time. I unfortunately do not know the name of the channel who posted these originally, but I do know for a fact that the person who did these recreations did a fantastic job of doing so that I decided to post what I was able to save. These are being presented for the first time since the removal of the other channel. All of the opening mocks you will see are on the style of the 1981-87 era of the show. We begin with the first season.

Big fan of the Season 5 version of the theme song, and the Season 11-14 logo
Yes! Season 5's theme knocked me over when I first heard it.
I still love the #KnotsLanding theme song, it was better than any other classic primetime soap, even better than its mother series Dallas! (Fun fact: Original cast member Constance McCashin, who played Laura Avery Sumner, is happily married to Sam Weisman, who's best known for directing many episodes of #FamilyTies, as well as the 1994 Disney sequel #D2TheMightyDucks & the 1997 live-action adaptation of #GeorgeOfTheJungle starring Brendan Fraser. McCashin has long since retired from acting, & nowadays, is a therapist who specializes in mental health.) Thanks so much for taking us on another wild trip down primetime soap memory lane! 👍🏻 I have a very special S.A.U. related question for you. When did the S.A.U. soap opera adaptations of #TheWayWeWere & #AStarIsBorn make their debuts?
Honestly, I enjoy the #Knots theme song (second to the PCBH closing theme) more than any other soap theme song in history. Right now, I am enjoying non-stop, the Season 9 version of the theme song. Which version of the KL theme song is YOUR favorite? Thanks for commenting and enjoying!
"The Way We Were" began on May 6th, 1974 and "A Star is Born" began on September 19th, 1976.
@@EdwynNSanchez I honestly prefer the Season 9 version, it deserves MORE love. How iconic! :)
@@stewiegriffinfan1986 - I agree. Really love the slowness of the tempo. And it really does fit the image of the credits.
I cant wait until you post the 1998 and 1999 Daytime emmy awards :)
UPDATE: One of them has been posted now. Check the channel to see which one it is!
