My friend bought a $90 case for his IPhone. It didn't break when he dropped it off a 2nd story balcony onto concrete, but it DID break when I accidentally knocked it off a table onto carpet.

I actually bought "Seven", the Tron watch and I quite liked it. I wore it into the ground. The only things I found wrong with it is that the fancy strap thing eventually wears out so any movement of slight shock will pop the mechanism open. That, and dont get bug spray on it, it will slightly eat the plastic facing...

Awww yeah, just got the Seven watch for my birthday. Surprisingly you do pick up on the dimmer segments quickly.. though it can become uncomfortable and it pinches your arm hairs.

I have the snugg for ipod touch 4g, dropped it down my stairs and no crack. Great stuff.

I am so happy people are starting to see that. It is annoying as all hell when someone wastes space and time correcting insignificant corrections to otherwise perfectly legible comments.

I still use an older Toshiba Thrive AT100 tablet. The rubbery backing is built in, though I do have a faux leather Toshiba one that's very similar to the first Snugg case in this review.
It may not be as small or as fast as a brand new iPad, but full-size HDMI and USB ports make it better for utility. Also, it's not an apple product, so that's another point in its favor.

This is actually the first time I bought something that Ashens reviewed. I bought the Snugg ipad mini case and I am loving it.

In Poundland, I got this envelope like sleeve thing for my Iconia A1 (because 65% of the cost of an iPad is for the name), and it's such cood quality that everyone says they'd pay £10 for it. Probably cost that much before, but still not bad

I like the concept of the tokyoflash pocket watch they have... just not the way they did it...get rid of the lens and have a standard steel case that is decorated in a way that matches the styling of the face some how and it would be pretty awesome... not 169 bucks awesome but still pretty intriguing

I'm using the Snugg case now, it is awesome. But the flap in the back for the stand pretty much breaks after about a year of constant use.
Those watches are completely pointless, if I saw someone wearing one IRL I'd think 'there goes that guy who somehow thinks he's cool because nobody else can read the time on his watch - wow'. It's like having a secret that nobody else cares about.
The last one was kinda cool, and easy to read. And easy to figure out too, even if you don't know how to read it at first.
But the other ones, yeah, they do seem really pointless.

I think the best cases out there for proper protection are the Otterbox cases. I have one on my iPad mini 2 and it's wonderful.
The best case for design (in my opinion) are the Origami Roocases. I have one on my IPad Air 2 and it's great for not just protection but also design and practicality.

Hey I am using an iPad in that exact snugg case, I wouldn't recommend it majorly myself because iit is a bit lose and slips downwards, covering the ports ect ectt. But as for protection it's no1 . Your iPad will not break in one of these cases.

I got a case for my Sony Xperia SP and it's made out of leather with white stitches that covered the whole thing and it costed 7 pounds! When a Sony case that was just plastic that covered only the back costed 10 pounds! I wished I never bought the plastic one now :/

Brendan Yim I do. I ran it over with a car with steel Canadian tires and my phone isn't even frozen after 10 seconds of -40C weather. Amazing what the waterproof cases can do!
i got my casio quartz for £50 and it comes with both analog and digital display, thermometer, compass, moon age, sunset and sunrise options and the usual stopwatch and whatnot
I could actually get used to the first watch. The second one is a load of poop however.
I have a Candy Shell by Spec on my iPod Touch, and when I took it off to clean the wireless receiver, and I saw several parts of my case that had turned purple on the inside. Maybe my iPod Touch likes to emit purple goo while I am not watching.

I guess what I'm saying is are they like Meze Classics or Beats by Dr. Dre, where you don't quite get the quality that you pay for.

Buy the survivor cases, they cost around 45 pounds (90 AUD) and they protect it extremely well, I can drop it from my head and it does NOT damage it at ALL!

You call those odd watches? I have somewhere a watch which is also a transforming robot/car that you can pull back and release to see it drive.
The windscreen shows the time on an LCD screen.
I have absolutely no idea if it was Transformers related or not.
Just get an iPod Nano (touch screen one) with a watch strap. You can get one brand new for about £100 or £70 on ebay. And the strap cost a few pounds. As well as a really cool watch, you have an awesome MP3 player.
The cheap one is probably PU leather, which is a thin layer of real leather followed by a thicker layer of polyurethane. It's half the price, but lasts shorter. Personally I'm getting a nexus 7 because it's the only tablet that's actually worth the price to this date.
I do see what you mean aswell because in reality pretty much everything you do on the internet is recorded in some way by your computer (or broadband hub). It is kind of unnerving if you think about it

you can try Tokyoflash Shinshoku (Corrosion). I got one from dx, and it was actually pretty cheap (being a fake) and nice, and work for more than a year without any troubles.

I think i just found the only other reasonable person on the internet :D, If you were watching things before the ad on that particular session then there's a chance that it was because of previous videos you watched because google uses cookies to find out what you watch automatically to show you the righ ads as well so that could be it?

I have a strong plastic cover (like the silicone one) then the apple magic one and then it goes in a portal themed little pouch.

The smart cover for the ipad mini is good
well here in the UK we have Pounds (£) and Pence(p) (100 pence to a pound) which have common nicknames, pence, for exalmple is quite often shortened to p (pronounced "pee")
and pound is also shortened to quid. Poundland is a shop that sells low quality stuff for only 1 pound per item. Like a 99 cent shop in the USA (correct me if I'm wrong). Everywhere else in Europe has the euro which is unfortunately undergoing a crisis at the moment

The first Snugg cover looks almost identical to my iPad cover, which is from "Sheath".
