Nice review. I recently purchased the Cuetec Synergy Breach break cue and love it. This was my first ever Cuetec cue. I’m very impressed with the quality of the Cuetec. I also like what I’m hearing here with this shooting cue and I’m sure it’s a great cue for players. Thanks for taking the time to put together this review 👍🏻
Hi Ron! Happy you like it; same here, back in the days I guess, Cuetec hasn‘t had the best reputation. Other than being a good entry level cue. Of course cues are a very individual thing. I really like them, how they play, how they feel, the design and the quality. Of course cues can be manufactured to a higher standard etc, yet I am really impressed how reliable and consistent they play. At least for me. Enjoy!

Awesome review I already have the white one and been playin with it for about 7,8 months but its time to change the tip do have any recommendations? Im thinking about putting a kamui black soft does it play good with the cynergy ?
Nice review! Do you have any experience with the AVID shaft? Still playing with a 20+ years old cue and want to upgrade to a newer modern one with weight system and a LD-Shaft - thought about the Chroma Abysss with AVID shaft. Do you think it's wasted money and I should wait and purchase the more expensive one? Cheers
Hi there! Thanks a lot, appreciate the kind words! Yes, I played the Avid shaft, and I also liked it a lot. Skyler Woodward also plays with it, I think. As with many things in Pool, its all about personal preference. The Avid shaft is also very low deflection, yet it also depends what tip you wanna use on how it will play (as with Carbon shafts too). So, my 2 cents, you would not go completely wrong with an Avid shaft for sure! Personally I am just a fan of Carbon Shafts in general, and of course of my Cynergy 15K shaft in particular.
Hard to give an appropriate answer, cause there are so many different wooden shafts out there. But in general I would say, the 15K shaft is very similar when it comes to deflection to a wooden shaft, although being a low deflection shaft.
No, I would not differentiate it like this; in my opinion, 11,8 allows for more spin application and accuracy, but requires also more accuracy from the player when striking the cueball. 12,5 limits you a bit if you seek a high amount of spin application, but allows players to be a bit more inaccurate when hitting the cueball. At the end, its just up to personal preference. Since my accuracy is lacking, due to limitations in my practice time, I prefer the 12,5. just a great overall shaft. But this should not and does not take away anything from the great 11,8 shaft!
Hi! You can order the cue with 19oz, if you can order with 18 oz - not sure!! As far as I am aware, if you for example order a 19 oz cue, there are no weights you could remove. Please ask a cuetec dealer. Sorry, I couldn‘t help more
Hey man, iv'e been thinking about getting this awsome looking cue from cuetec, shoutout to them for making it so good, but im stuck on the 11.8mm and 12.5mm diameter shaft, is there a big difference beetwen the two and what do you recommend?
Hi there! Yep, there is a big difference! Both shafts produce a huge amount of power and control, yet the 11,8 additionally allows you to put that bit of more extra spin if you want to! I personally use the 12,5mm shaft, because its a bit more forgiving if I do not hit the cueball as accurately as intended. Hope this helps

Tough one (opinion wise); at the beginning its more important to have the right people around you showing you technique etc. Yet, learning it right away with a proper cue (whatever brand) never hurt no one.
How does the duo extension sits/fits on the ghost edition cue butt? Is it aligned and clicks smoothing or is it same issue with your leopard edition with white old extension?

Hi there! Oh, thats weird, never heard of anything like this before, be it a Cuetec cue or any other cue from another brand. It sounds completely stupid maybe from my side, but are sure you turn into the right direction? Its like the question, if you turned on power supply on your computer… If so, and it still does not open, maybe get a second person, one holding the shaft, the other the butt, and unscrew then. I never had any of these problems with any of my Cuetec or any other cues. And, you do not need to tighten the cue super hard as well when you put it together. I am sorry that I cannot help more from my side, but I hope it helps a bit! Please let me know how it turned out!

Hi! He plays with an Cuetec Ebony with Wrap butt (as far as I know) with a Cuetec Cynergy shaft. Fedor is known to tweak a lot on his cues, be it the weight, or swapping the standard ferrule to a carbon one (in the past) etc. So it might be slightly modified version of the one available to us.
The 11,8 shaft is smaller, hence, if you are not precise on placing your tip on the cueball you either apply unwanted spin or too much spin on the cueball. The 12,5 is bigger, so its a bit generous, so you can make a small placement error with your tip on the cueball now and then and still get away with it. But the 11,8 on the other hand, allows you to put more spin on the cueball. So, its a trade off, working on your stroke fundamentals is helpful - in any case, so you are able to deliver the cue onto to cueball precisely

The influence of humidity, temperature on a carbon shaft is significantly lower than on a wooden shaft. And due to the minimalistic design on the SVB edition, the price for this high-end cue is more than fair. If you mean whats played in the video, its 12,5mm. If you ask me what I prefer, it‘s 12,5mm - just because it allows me not to aim perfectly precise all the time. Simply, cause I am not a pro.
