This one seems easy. And it actually is, but it includes many shots and positions which come up in rotation games on a regular basis. I’ve just been starting to play in tournaments but so far in all ten ball we have to break outside the middle box. So the left third or right third but cannot break from the middle. Is this weird?/Because so far almost all tutorials for ten ball breaks is from the middle.

    For those who buy the cue now, they've cut down the packaging quality a lot. It's now a black cardboard type box with no foam padding in it. They include around 10 wipes now, not the 20+ seen in this video. The packaging difference is quite huge and disappointing.

    The reason the shot works, from what I understand, is that the right spin pushes the cue ball to the left make you hit rail first to the left and the result becomes hitting rail and ball at the same time. When the ball is hit you are transferring spin to that ball like football player spinning to keep the defense from effecting him. In this example the friction from the rail is the defense. The shot is possible in a number of different ways and if you want to use running English (left in this case) just hit rail first and it will go in but the cue ball will go a bit more straight out and spin along the tangent line that way so it depends on where you want to end up. You can also hit rail and ball at the same time with right spin or backspin/lowspin and it will work. Too much topspin can cause the ball to8t come off the rail for short shots. But If you need it to go all the way down the rail a bit of top and left spin with ball first works some of the time but it's hard do it consistently.

    You say "you get what you pay for". That is not true read my honest story and experience with this company, so people also hear an other opinion: Jflowers says It say's the default weight is 19 Pounce and they say you can remove (or add) weights to change the weight. That is not true I ordered a 19 ounce but got a heavier one. And it was NOT possible to remove weight bolts because they all where already out. When I complained, because the cue was to heavy for me and totally out of balance, they put an extreme light shaft on it of just 3,6 ounce (usually shafts are around 4 ounce) and the butt was way to heavy in relation to the shaft. When accelerating through the cue ball it felt like a sledge hammer instead of a precision instrument. Jflowers first told me to remove weight bolts or send the cue back so they would remove them to solve the issue. They first would not understand that the butt did not contain removable weights. So I had to send it back. After they inspected the butt they came to the conclusion there are no weights to remove. They refused to send me a lighter butt and told me that the heavier then 19 ounce butt was the lightest they got so they would not replace it. I already owned an other Jflowers classic shaft which has a normal weight of 3,9 ounce combined with the faulty butt the cue would weight 19,5 ounce. That is half an ounce more than the 19,0 ounce that was expected after ordering and no possibility to remove weight bolts. Jflowers support simply did deny the issue did not send a lighter butt. Because they said the deviation was within to be expected margin for cues in their price range. And I was told the do not want to do any more business with me. Because they lost already money because of the shipping costs. Well my thought is If a company says this, there must be lots of unsatisfied customers. If it would only be one with one time extra shipping costs then I cannot imagine that would be an issue. So lessons learned is, if you want a cue and risk it be unbalanced or to heavy you can buy. If you already own a shaft and order a 19 ounce cue, hoping you can take out weight bolts if to heavy you should not buy. Jflowers is not capable of guarantying to send an exact 19 ounce and balanced cue, it is depending on luck, that has weight bolts in it to remove. I also played a Cuetec. And no the Jflowers can not at all compete with a Cuetec. Cuetec offers far better quality and adjustability. Even their cheaper AVID range cues are much better then the Jflowers.

    ... But I thought these new cues have very little deflection properties but not for this video I guess huh? You spend 7 minutes damn near, with 3 minutes saying nothing but introductory sensationalism to your little RUclips channel here in which you have one gimmick shot as you prescribe as a remedy to a one size fits all where what if I am using a 14 mm old school shaft? Well You just aim straight at that ball with high right and shoot firm and rely on the squirt or excuse me the deflection of the shaft as if that is what is actually occurring.... Keep talking bud, maybe you can invite me upstairs one day for one of those grilled cheese sandwiches and orange soda 😐

    When you say "aim full on the object ball", do you mean straight into the object ball? Meaning, I line up my cue, the cueball, and the object ball ALL on the same line? Or are you saying to give a full stroke with the top right english to the correct location the cueball needs to strike to pocket the ball? Thanks.

    This might be okay if you're an absolute beginner -- but you're far better off learning how to pocket balls with CENTER BALL. You have to be able to make the CB go where you aim and learn to imagine where it'll go. Then it's about learning sight picture. There's no tricks to getting good.

    • @pocketedyoutube
      @pocketedyoutube 5 месяцев назад

      If you mean whats played in the video, its 12,5mm. If you ask me what I prefer, it‘s 12,5mm - just because it allows me not to aim perfectly precise all the time. Simply, cause I am not a pro. But the 11,8mm shaft is just awesome, especially applying spin. At the end, it comes down to personal preference I guess

    • @Joseph-xi5bt
      @Joseph-xi5bt 5 месяцев назад

      @@pocketedyoutube been playing with the ghost 11.8 for about a year now. I get what you mean about beknf precise. When i do those power draw shots and i go just a hair beyond the miscue limit, i will definitely miscue. And when i dont focus on tip placement and put unintentional side spin, the 11.8 puts so much unintentional side spin, i miss the ball by a mile. Getting the hang of it. The 11.8 has its advantages once you’re used to it and you practice being very precise with your tip placement. Most top pros play with thicker shafts though. I think chris melling plays with cynergy 11.8.

      H Ahmad! The difference is in the used materials. Truewood cues - as the name states - include special wood and inlays, the Ghost cue uses less expensive wood/material hence its cheaper. You can find more infos on www.cuetec.com - hope this helps!

    Glad this works for you. I haven’t tried this method, but I understand why you were missing the shot. Hitting the cue ball on the right side pushes it to the left of the aiming line (squirt). Dr. Dave and several other people have videos on RUclips explaining this. Stroke power, distance, angle, etc. all play into this shot. I find it better to have more information to be able to compensate correctly for each shot I am presented with. Then practice making the same shot with different spin (inside, outside, top, draw, stop, etc.).
