Its jaw dropping how much more DBZ has to offer in terms of story telling after all these years. You can easly make a point where Goku train so hard, not only because so he can overcome every dangerous opponent capable of destroying his Home, he also often isolete himself knowing that he himself is very dangerous to Earth, he is still in pursuit to his promise made for himself to repay his Grandpa for killing kim. This tells so much about Goku considering, Earth isnt his original Home and Gohan isnt his original Grandpa.
