I have been wanting a tm hi-capa but I had to do research for upgrades when it breaks and what gas to us. I then found your channel and I love it. When I finally get my hi-capa 5.1 gold match this miny I will definitely look at you videos when I finally upgrade and repair. So thank you for these videos.
Great Video! I bought a 4.3 due to availability and eventually got the 5.1 due to the upgradability that it presented. I get that you say the whole upper part of the guns are interchangeable but I think the most important part to mention is that just the slides themselves are not interchangeable. I've looked for an all metal slide (that wasn't a Guarder) and have had minimal luck. My only option for that gun (the 4.3) was to change out the whole upper part to make it a 5.1. With the price of upgrades, it was cheaper to get a 5.1 and upgrade it with an aluminum slide than it was to upgrade the 4.3. As it stands, I am just waiting until my 4.3 breaks which is super unfortunate. I really wish there was more love for the 4.3.
I noticed that a lot of your guns don't have thumb safeties on both sides, is that something that's just personal preference or is there a benefit? And does it require any specialist parts? I'm not a fan of thumb safeties, would they be able to be removed? Loving the videos, learning a lot :)
1st off always great videos. Question, why do TM mags not have fill valve o-rings? Are there o-rings that fit? I cannot find any that fit. Every time I try to fill with green gas I waste as much as a fill.
Hi, I have a question. Which gun will show the best result? We need to take HiCapa 5.1 & 4.3 basic equipment, and measure the speed of the ball. After that, we change the barrel to 6.01 and once again measure the speed of departure of the ball.
I am on the line because i like the look of the 4.3, but the 5.1 has more upgrade parts. What is your favorite 4.3 slide? and should i go with the 5.1 because i can upgrade it more? thanks!
Hi, Knuckles! I Have a question about the new GunsModify SAI slides (Specificly the costa version with the RMR and all that jazz) Im having troubles installing the trigger unit. The video you already have up on it is different, its a older version than the one I have here.. Do you have any ideas on it? I cant seem to get to install the safety on it :/
I want to get a 4.3 for its guts to build a 5.1. In this video you said the hammer, safety, and trigger are "different". Does that mean you can't interchange them? Getting 5.1 slide, frame, and grip and putting the 4.3 dual stainless internals in it. Does this work?
The thing I like about the 4.3, aesthetically at least, is that the slide and frame are flush at the front opposed to the 5.1 where the frame is shorter. Wish I could find more 5.1 with a flush frame and slide.

4.3 finally has some more options, all though a long way from the 5.1 slide options. In the end its more about where you play and what your style is. When I was actively playing, my local field allows 400fps, so I can run either but getting a 7inch inner barrel in was good for me. My other place I played at was very CQB so I loved 4.3s for that. Just find out what you love and base it on that

I can NOT say that is true, but the generall consesus is just that; the longer barrel of 5.1 makes for a better APSC/precision pistol and the shorter 4.3 is "better" for actual combat instead. Personally.. honestly, it's what, about ONE inch difference? How much can it differ?

That is impossible to guarantee that now with the newer WE models being changed. It will be hard to figure out what gen you have as most websites will never tell you what gen they are.
I was wondering if there's an easy way to remove the Orange tip from a stock tm 5.1 cuz I just got mine from evike and I wanted to remove it. Would just pliers work or what? Thanks

hey knuckles. I love your work and have recently bought a tm 5.1 hi capa and i fell in love with it. It is way more accurate than my M4 SMG that i use and I'm thinking about making it my primary. I am thinking about buying a metal slide for it when the plastic one breaks so i am thinking about an Airsoft Masterpiece triangle slide. Would you recommend it? I'm also probably going to get a different grip for it so I want to know what are some good grips >$50 that are drop in fits. Love your work helped me a lot before.

My gaurder g17 barrel is increasing my slide cycle time. Could this be due to late unlocking?

negative, it has a unique blow back unit and loading nozzle as well, its not 1:1 with the 1911 series making harder to find upgrades

thanks a ton. if you have a scale, could you weigh them real quick? all sites say the 5.1 is 950g but i seriously doubt that given the plastic body.
Thats around the average weight, remember its not 100% plastic, the frame is metal along with bbu etc

Heat it up with a heat gun. (Take inner barrel out first) and take pliers an take it out!
AidanAirsoft It can be screwed off with a hex key, mine came off fairly easily.
Tbh u just pop it out no heat required at all I used a screwdriver or a flat head to take it out
Besides the part that make a tm extreme 45, full auto, does it have the same internals as a tm 5.1.

I know you probably don't care... But in my experience co2 is just way to hard to put in to the mag and it didn't last very long.

can u link me the green dot sights that you have in there? are they glow-in-the-dark? what about that outer barrel for 4.3 that is silver?
Those are UAC sights for Hi-Capa along with the 4.3 Outer Barrel, check Evike for them

if you upgrade the barrel and bucking, i really like using .28s and above, otherwise .25s is a good for non upgrades
