This game made me feel like a little kid again in terms of excitement and energy it generates. What a SPECTACULAR job everyone did!

@@primeoctober that’s what I’m saying. I thought Zelda but after playing this and I’m still going, this game is goated literally a top 5 FF game all time. Story is way in depth and dominant fights are 100% crazy good. We have to wait for Spider-Man 2 tho. It’s gonna be tough.

This feels like a fight taken out of Asura's Wrath. I was surprised by how expressive Clive was throughout this fight. Even when Hugo could no longer speak, Clive was still throwing barbs.
Lol I love how at @23:40 He mentions the Metroid Boss fight with Ridley and Samus when Titan literally does pull a Riley attack on Ifrit by driving him across the wall as well. The Summon fights are Asura's Wrath + God of War all the way. Straight up craziness at work.
I'm pretty sure Kupka was hallucinating her being there. You'd think one was going to betray the other. Nope. He genuinely loved her...to the point that his mind became completely clouded by revenge.
People really complaining? Lol bruh every Final Fantasy thats ever released there's always an annoying group of people that say "oh this isn't final fantasy" ... this game is incredible

Parts of it are. The Eikon battles are some of the best I’ve ever seen in a game. The rest of the game doesn’t auite match that quality imo. Although the story and voice acting are fantastic.
It's not a real Final Fantasy until people call it "not a real Final Fantasy". It's like a rite of passage at this point.
People stuck in the past and can't except change and growth. If you want to play the same game everytime go play new COD or FIFA

This boss is Asura's Wrath as fuck and I love it. All the Eikon battles give me Asura's Wrath vibes, actually.

This fight was insane. And the Eikon fights still keep getting better. Every time I fight one I think that was bad ass and one of the best fights I've seen in game, but each fight tops the previous one.
Fight was amazing. The had to do it for titan sick as they made him look

I literally just got past this part. Everyime I see one of these Eikonic battles, I always say that its the best one yet and I have a feeling I am going to be repeating that statement until the game ends. These fights are just so amazing and has so much scale to them.

the music in the second phase of Titan Lost reminds me alot of the Normal Raid chain from the Heavensward expantion in ff14 curiously the team that did that expantion was the one that made this game so we can consider that a direct call back to it in a way even the way the vocals are sang is the same

This fight is a remake of dante vs saviour from dmc 4 since it was disliked in dmc 4 so they tried to improve it. And they have definitely outdone themselves.
Isn't the combat designer the same as DMC5's?

What a game man
To bad this game wasn't on the Nintendo Switch because then Roger probably would have done the whole reaction. This game is easly GOTY. One of the greatest mainline Final Fantasy games I have played in nearly 2 decades. The last time I remember this much hype and excitement was from FF X.

I was thinking about the FF13 comparison (I did not like that), and I now realize that my issue wasn’t with it being a “hallway simulator” it was more that I didn’t like the characters, story, or dialogue. Playing 16 is a completely 180 from that.

Since FF10 Final fantasy has not been turn based. We've gotten turn based elements in UI and inputs between attacks but that's about it.
