Michael would've been an excellent James Bond if only American actors were allowed to be, he had the looks, the charm, everything, but his DiNozzo character was wonderful kind of Bond anyway. I loved DiNozzo and Abbie the best out of the series and the show isn't the same without them. Didn't get to see the series Bull, but I'm sure Michael was amazing in it. Tony, brought so much personality to the show. Humor, in the mist of tradgedy lightened the show and made it enjoyable to watch. You never knew what he was going to do or say next. Michael Weatherly is one of my favortie actors!!!

NCIS was only interesting for me because of Tony, when Ziva left, when Tony left I stopped watching altogether. Only watched some of Season 17 to see Ziva and hopefully see Tony reunite with her...hopes dashed on that too...

I really, really don't like the make up of NCIS now. It's lost its edginess, its toughness. After Ziba and Tony left...the personnel has become weaker. I had always severely disliked Abby, for no agency would hire someone like that, and someone like Gibbs, would never have worked with someone who reacts to everything like a 12 year old emotionally damaged spaz. Same for Palmer. You're a doctor, working for some very serious people(Gibbs), and yet, he would repeatedly ask silly questions and start every initial trip to a crime scene, discussing something ridiculous. They no how not to act, they know what annoys Gibbs, yet they continue to do it. And the girl(she acts more like a 15 year old girl, not a women) who replaced Abby, has that predictable TV "socially awkward, techno nerd" character thing, which is annoying. Unnecessary silliness in all those cases. And Bishop looks like it's "take your daughter to work day". She looks like a 13 year old kid. And what's with her always scrunching up her eyebrows together ,while asking the simplest of questions...and usually, obvious ones. But back to DiNozzo. He was, indeed, the wild card. He had a aloof, uplifting, manic thing to him...but underneath it all...a seriousness, a severe defender of all who he knew and loved, including his country. His relationship with his dad was a great side story and played brilliantly by Robert Wagner. But, after Di Nozzo left, the replacing characters became weaker. I went back and watched the first 4 seasons....what a stellar difference.
Great tribute to Tony he played a perfect role in NCIS... he had that certain Swagger about him that's why so many people loved him on the show.. I know it's only a show but it was heartbreaking when we saw Kate get killed and when Tony was leaving the show he had that box with Kate's picture in a frame it was a job and a family all in one.. I miss the original cast members but that's why they make DVDs so you can go back to when it was really great..See-Ya-Tony-D.😎👋👋👋👋🥂
For me Tony WAS NCIS. I know the producers feel that characters are interchangeable & the show just continues forward, but all that stopped with the loss of Tony. Once he was gone, the joy was gone. The fun was gone. The reason I watched left. He was the constant I stayed with after Kate died, Jenny died, the directors changed, ppl on the team changed. Without Tony, I didn’t WANT to watch. 😢

They are doing so many spin-offs. When they first introduced NCIS:LA they said there would probably be characters showing up in one or the other show. I think I’ve seen Abby in “LA” once. That’s it. After she left I wasn’t much interested in the show anymore. I felt bad for McGee having to carry the show by himself. There wasn’t the good dynamic on the show that they once had. Couldn’t count Palmer because he was the Autopsy Gremlin.
Imagine him and his daughter came back with Ziva and Zali goes missing and then they stay again and the same type of thing with Abby she comes back again
Fairly infantile music and an echo effect added to the voices, I guess someone figured they knew better than the editors & production staff at CBS but I found this unwatchable after about half a minute. It's a pity it was altered, I would have enjoyed seeing it.

Such a good well thought out character, a real 3 dimensional complex human being and they turned him into the comic relief every episode. Tony's departure left a big black hole in the show. He is greatly missed and I liked the way he was written out of the show, that Zeva connection.
