Yayyyyy!!! Brother Satoshi.....so happy that you put out a video for us! The ekiben kamameshi looked absolutely delicious!! I watched the whole video without looking at the subtitles and understood every single word you said. ☺️ Thank you for sharing brother!!
Mindy's Mom You are so smart, sister! I understood some of it, but I still needed the subtitles, so I am grateful for Satoshi for providing them! The kamameshi looks so good! Sending hugs to you, friend!
Erin Uber.......It’s awesome that you understood some of what was said sister!!! I grew up with my mom and dad speaking Japanese to each other. My mom would speak Japanese to me, and I would always answer back in English. I became fluent in speaking, when we spent 3 months in Japan, when I was 11. I never lost the ability to understand. I did, however, lose the ability to speak Japanese properly. I can speak just enough to get around........ ((Hugs)) to you too sister! ❤️
Mindy's Mom I think your parents gave you a gift by speaking Japanese at home, so that you could hear it, and also taking you to Japan when you were 11. It's good that you can understand it, and I bet you would regain your ability to speak it more easily again quickly, since you were once fluent. It is such a help to hear another language when you are young. It probably helped me that the topic of these videos is usually food! I am more familiar with food and cooking topics in Japanese. Ha ha ha! ;-) I wonder how that happened?!?!??! :-) Have a good week, sister! Hugs!
What a treat to have a new video from you, Satoshi-san! Oh, I love kamameshi, but I've never tried making it myself. And true to your channel's title, your recipe was really easy to follow. I can’t wait to try making this myself. And how beautiful your finished dish looked with Erin's lovely homemade potholder! Thanks for the recipe, and I hope you’re both settling in after returning from Hawaii.
Arigatou! Kamameshi is easy and delicious! Maybe to find cray pot is difficult, so please use small regular pot. I will make another videos soon! Thank you very much!
Fantastic cuts on the vegetables. The cooking apparatus looks like something I once did with an outdoor fire pit table, gardening bricks, a grill grate, and vessel for shabu shabu. It worked well. Nice to see you posting again! Nice to see you too Mindy's Mom and Erin.
Thank you for watching my video! I m glad you enjoyed the vegetable cutting. It makes people little bit happy, I think.Yeah, this is good to make outside. I will make another video !
Solo Satoshi. Wow that looked pure deliciousness. Mouth watering, tasty and easy to make. I'll have to find me a clay pot. It looks perfect for cooking rice. Loved this. Thanks Satoshi San. JC

Just discovered your KantanFood, Satoshi. I'm so glad you are doing these videos. Can you cook this clay pot kamameshi in an oven or on an induction stove top?
Thank you for watching my video! You can use this clay pot in an oven but unfortunately it doesn't work on induction stove. I have same problem about it. Usually I use induction stove for video but this time I used real fire. That's the reason why. Once again, thank you very much!
Thank you! I love this clay pot. It doesn't work on induction stove but ok in microwave or oven. So I sometimes use for another purpose like baking. It worth to buy this ekiben!
Yeah, I know. but you can make this with small pot. If you have a chance to come to Japan, please visit ekiben shop in Tokyo station. You can find there! (little bit heavy to bring it back to America..)

Were those the clay pots from Yokokawa? I really loved that video and plan to do it when I go to Japan!
this will be my breakfast today , thank you Satoshi ♥
Lovely and delicious

You are a skilled cook...this looks good enough to buy as ekiben! (✨👌🏼✨)
Thank you! I love this clay pot. It doesn't work on induction stove but ok in microwave or oven. So I sometimes use for another purpose like baking. It worth to buy this ekiben!
I am just now watching your salad mukbang, also! Such coincidence! (I would definitely buy kamameshi ekiben, so good!)
