Thank you for teaching us how to make this cute baby booties. I saw other videos and they were so complicated. You really have an easy way to explain how to make them. I like crocheting because it relaxes me and with the other videos it will definitely do the opposite. I really truly want to thank you.
I’m wanting to make these for the girls in my church who have babies. I’m not great at crochet but these steps were easy and I did it! I made the toe part too long but they look cute! Thank you so much!
These are beautiful Emi! On my list of things to make because guess what? I just found out I'm going to have my first grandchild! It's a boy. Believe it or not this will be my first time crocheting baby items. We're very excited. 💙💙
Oh Trish! Big congratulations! My grandchildren are now 20 and 16, but I was looking at their baby pics just last week. So cute! Baby items are fun to crochet, as they are usually small, and work up fairly quickly! Have fun crocheting!
Very nice. I kept putting my hand inside. Can I make these without those rows. I just feel like that may not feel comfortable on baby little foot. Just thoughts.
These are lovely - my first bootee for my first grandchild. Can you tell me what the lengths should be for the various starting chain sizes please? I am using dk yarn and 5mm hook and have done a chain 20 which measures just over 3.5 inches but when I do six rows it measures less than an inch and a half and yours is 2 inches?? Thank you
Double knitting is a smaller yarn than worsted weight. You will likely need to work twice as many rows as I did with ww yarn. If you work with 2 strands of dk, you will get the same results I did with one strand of ww yarn.
Question what size hook my problem is my stuff is packed because im moving to a new group home and i feel the hook im using is going to be to big please let me know what size hook to us thank you
I have been making baby booties for a number of years. But the pattern and method of joining greatly impressed me. How you used the yr crochet hook to GATHER the toe and whip that hook in & out--WOW !!! Seriously...Mind. Blown. Will be using this technique. Thx for Sharing :-)
Depends on the size being made.. usually, the back part and the front part are the same, that is to say, if the back is 2 inches, the front is 2 inches. Here is the length of baby feet: Newborn: 3.75 inches long, 3 months: 4 inches long; 6 months: 4.5 inches long, 12 months: 5 inches long.
You can slow down the videos to a snail's pace, hover the cursor along the bottom of the video, and a bar will open up with a little "gear" icon, click on that, and you can slow down or speed up the videos.
Hi, just one bit of advise, can you please slow down on this video. I've been looking at one video all day and I'm seriously at 2:55 ... Love your work but this is so hard.
Hi there! You can slow down the video to a snail's pace... just click on the gear icon at the bottom of the video. Hover the mouse on the bottom of the video, and a bar will open that will give you the settings. I hope this helps. Kind regards, Emi

How come the toe portion seems too long? Judy, CA (6:05p.m.)
Is there a link to the matching hat?
Is there a size, or thickness of the yarn I should know about when I go to purchase it? ( I heard the hook is 5mm)
It is called worsted weight yarn. (Red Heart Super Saver is worsted weight yarn.) Kind regards, Emi
My booties turn out too big why? Judy, hanford, ca
Usually there are 3 reasons... different sized hook, different sized yarn, loose tension. You could try again using a smaller hook.
Question what size hook my problem is my stuff is packed because im moving to a new group home and i feel the hook im using is going to be to big please let me know what size hook to us thank you
5 mm hook
@@Hectanooga1 ok thank you very much
Can you do a video slower especially with double crochet also I am really having a hard time my length keeps being off and on long and then short
Top right corner has a settings button where you can slow the video.

Thanks so much for your lovely comment Elaine! Kind regards, Emi
written pattern would be nice
It's on my blog: hectanoogapatterns.blogspot.com/2019/11/free-crochet-baby-booties-pattern.html
how many rows more less would be for the front part of the bootie
Depends on the size being made.. usually, the back part and the front part are the same, that is to say, if the back is 2 inches, the front is 2 inches. Here is the length of baby feet:

How to gey these threads...for me only low quality is available..will you help me to get these kind of threads
It's great
But I get lost watching you work and forget to write down the pattern
what size are these , Please
probably would fit 3 - 6 months
Im a beginner, found this a little fast
You can slow down the videos to a snail's pace, hover the cursor along the bottom of the video, and a bar will open up with a little "gear" icon, click on that, and you can slow down or speed up the videos.

Yes, here: ruclips.net/video/goNVL0snmmo/видео.html

It’s too bad you don’t have the written instructions in pdf to print
