Gripping. Chilling. Heartbreaking. No spoilers, but I yelped out loud twice. Just finished watching and I'm still sitting in the emotions of it. Excellent job.
I throughly enjoyed watching this, people bothered over frame rate why not appreciate the hard work that went into producing this! ❤
THE PENITENTIARY!! I’ve been in those exact spots! This is so skillfully directed too
Well then you did your time and whatever you did I hope you didn't hurt anyone.
WOW! Absolutely blown away! I haven’t seen cinema this fantastic since shark tale! Keep up the good work!
Outstanding !!!!!
slayyyy lauren!!! the best as always!!!
Live near the prison in West Virginia . I liked this film. 👍
Well done! Captivating!
Chicken and waffles for his last meal......yep. A true delicacy. His last line "we're sick baby brother - just depends on how well you learn to dance with it" I thought was a brilliant statement! Great work!
AMAZING !!!!
Twists and turns! Unexpected. Sad ending.
Excellent movie 🍿 🎥
Absolutely love it!
Rivetting!
My goodness that prison makes Strangeways in Manchester look like the Hilton!! Very good film, I enjoyed it. Only guessing but were the murders of the wife and child revenge for the beating from the broken vase?
Grew up down the street from the prison in moundsville
Very very good
The brother taking the blame for the broken vase , and again for the famicide
Wow, never thought of that. Makes more sense than my comment, I thought it was revenge for the beating of the broken vase. Cheers mate.
That makes no sense. Had the husband killed his own wife & son, the brother on death row who was about to be executed, wouldn’t have had an opportunity to soothe his distressed nephew, because his nephew would have already been dead.
Gut churning, diarrhea producing, flatulence invoking I'm one minute in and I had run for the toilet!!!
Love spiced rum and cola
This movie stalls out at 0:14 every time I tried to watch it.
Leaving aside all its merits, I think this piece lacks verisimilitude: "Most fiction writers and filmmakers aim at some kind of verisimilitude to give their stories an air of reality. They need not show something actually true, or even very common, but simply something believable". Concretely in this case, letting the guard have his gun with him when he talks to the prisoner.
Sometimes you can't tell the acting is bad until the dialogue starts.
Pro tip - old video did not have reduced frame rate - that's not the artefact you want to introduce. This just shows how young the people involved in this film are are how little research they did.
they are college students
Boring.
I usually don't like horror, scary or even thrillers but I was drawn to this one firstly because of the location, it is close to where I reside, secondly b'cos the beginning started out like a regular family enjoying the sunny day, the happy little boy and the camera with the parents beaming with excitement❣️ But I knew chaos was about to happen so I held my breath anxiously awaiting something monstrous to happen......and boy did it!! So in essence, I caught the whole jest of the scenario in this AWESOME SHORT STORY✨️
I visited the Moundsville Penitentiary for an overnight "ghost hunt" a few years ago. Very cool place!
It's funny how it can be the crappiest film ever but if it has a place I'm familiar with, it just enhances the movie somehow.
And by NO means am I suggesting this film was "crappy!" Quite the opposite...I think this film is EXCELLENT in ALL aspects!
A Little Glass of Rum looks awesome!
Top job done by all involved. Thank you and looking forward to seeing more in the future.
It's so tragically and very emotionally movie,,, but it's outstanding 9.8/10😳
A mirror on the deep and tragic human condition.
couldnt tell they were brothers, 2 diff nationalities and certainly dont look alike. good work, i was waiting for when he would crack
Maybe one was adopted? You never know. I did think the same thing as you though 😅
O de otro padre
Brilliant!
