That's true. As a larger than average human I enjoy towering over other fellow humans, but I behave cautiously, observantly, and quietly instead or lording my height-power over them by forcing the smaller humans to fulfill my whimsical desires. I am now a gentle giant, the giant that observes, especially at night through your window
Patience? It is just a webcam. Nobody is sitting there for the recording. The only action is the cleaning of the artificial waterhole every now and then.
They even bully each other all the time. Most of the day they run up to the water just to sniff it and don’t actually take a drink. Other animals travel great distances to get water,but have to wait forever for the Oryx to leave or don’t get a drink at all. I have watched this live cam. for over two years,but going to stop. Ninety percent of it is Oryx being mean. The water hole is way too small and the Oryx are allowed to constantly dominate it. It makes me wonder how many animals have died not being able to get a drink. No wonder there are more Oryx than anything else. This little water hole is the only water for miles and miles.
There is a reservoir behind the camera but apparently most of the animals prefer this little water hole which automatically replenishes once the level gets too low.
What is really nice, no stupid tourist running up with cell phones for a selfie. Causing stress and harm to these fantasic beings. Please keep protecting your wildlife Namibia!
Why didn't anyone helping them bringing them water and food ? They cannot survive naturally because man destroyed their habitat so man has to help them, this is not their natural habitat anymore since it was destroyed by us humans. HELP THEM
These are 100% Southern Giraffes (Giraffa giraffa) but I don’t quite know which subspecies they are. There are also four species of giraffes by the way. Also don’t use the word breed, it only applies to domestic animals.
As you know they try and keep things as if in real life so cannot adapt Thayer surroundings to give them to much thay must get what thay want for themselves including water or thay will become to independent on things

Giraffe have learned that in order to get a drink, they need to bring THE WHOLE FAMILY or the oryx will hog the pan.

How does one tell a male giraffe from a female?
Internet confused me wanted to find out the breed as I guess there are four breeds . But it takes many search engines to find out.
