She even performed the day her dad died this woman is my idol the love of my life, I am so thankful for all that she has done and taught me about strength and endurance!!!

I was going to ask how far back can she go back with these gowns but I remember that just like three years ago she wore some thing that she had on in mahogany and you know that was a million years ago!
People really like to do the passive aggressive critique of Diana...complaining about her gowns, her voice, her band, her hair, her weight and everything else..then claim to love her....damn give her a break...she did it her way...not yours. Diana will admit that she wasn't perfect. Its no surprise a lot of other entertainers have been holding off on her for many years since the 1960's on things that she did back in the days. I think that most of what she had done was back in the 1960's to make her way to the top but once she became a solo act I think she calmed down. you've gotta understand it was the 1960's Americana was not very kind to black artist, A girl had to do what she had to do to become a star she was hungry and she wanted success so she made it happen for her self, at that time and there wasn't too much room for to many black acts at that time this is before soul train, but her co stars had never forgotten the things that she had done and they would not approach her for about another 30 years about the things that she had done but I will tell you she has reached out and apologized for what she has done to a lot of the other artist over the years and they are cool friends now.

Once She got Gladys knight and the pips thrown off a tour and she would call Berry Gordy the love of her life still today and tell him what she wanted and he would make it happen for her . She was sneaky those big eyes would always be looking for a chance for the Supremes to upstage some other act. She did a lot of other stuff too but I don't even want to go there because a lot of the stuff that she would do she would try to play it off. The dresses and wardrobe she would do things to that even with the other two girls to come out on top.Notice that her wig would always be bigger than the other girls and that she had on more lashes than the other girls. It would be small sneaky Subtle things. She knew were every things was she knew where the camera was Diana is smart. She knew how to throw her hands up so she would be the only one in focus when she was on TV. Don't play her cheap! It wasn't her alone Berry was in on this too for she was the apple of his eye and his prize possession.
THIS! THIS! THIS! THIS!!!! Diana, you're a LEGEND, and you do things your way....but, GOD, this is the kind of thing I would love her to do on tour now. She's basically been doing the same tour for 8 years now, she's downscaled it, it's more bare bones. She takes about on hour and a 1/2 and RACES thru she short versions of as many hits as she can (I think she thinks fans expect to hear them all). I LOVE her singing one whole song at a time. Slowing down the pace. Doing some lesser known songs (He Lives in You was a grand entrance, Chain Reaction, Home...) has brought a great breath of fresh air Enjoying herself and each song individually. If she's having fun you know the audience will as well.
What an elegant gregorous benevolent human being Diana Ross is still the stellar performer at seventy four years young and at her age and with her still beautiful self ,she still even now ,ilicit negative responses from persons that for no other reason but to just be nasty about this lady and holding grudges sixty (60) years old my goodness you would think Diana went these people and personally attacked them or a r a member of their family ,when really all she did was show the world over and over she was and still is a very capable entertainer and superstar lengnd of the first order even inspire of all the lies ,hate and vinume being thrown her way . Diana Ross still looks good and she still sounds good ,you Diana make us so joyous to have you still here ,,doing well ,being the wonderful spotlight in all the dark and nagitvety that tries so hard to swallow you up because the greater power of He who is in you . I wish this is the concert she did for the past 2 years when her voice was still almost like it used to be but this is the way the stage was supposed to always look for HER and she has new gowns and she is singing new songs. I love love love her. She could still do muscles also. her voice can handle that one.

Why does she always preach/sing that "pontificating" song when instead of 'reaching out and touching" Florence Ballard's hand..she reached out and bit it! As well as NOT helping Florence's 3 daughters living in poverty. Oh sure she gave them money when they were little kids and their guardian squandered it...BUT she could make it right with them today and help them out now they are adults and in need. If she really wanted to do right for and by Florence and her legacy she would make overtures and do it NOW and prove for real that she really does care for Florence's flesh and blood and show them the respect BUT no she just pays lip services with preaching songs as this. ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS DIANA/DIANE!
