In the many single-core tests, the Ryzen 9 7900X3D has scored over 2185, which is 3% higher than the Ryzen 7 7800X3D’s score of about 2127. However, in the multi-core tests, the Ryzen 9 7900X3D had a significantly higher score of 33192, which is 45% higher than the Ryzen 7 7800X3D’s score of 22856.

Both processors belong to the same generation (Zen 4) and offer some impressive specs, but they have some differences that set them apart from each other. Starting with the core count, the Ryzen 9 7900X3D has 12 cores and 24 threads, while the Ryzen 7 7800X3D has 8 cores and 16 threads. This gives the Ryzen 9 a clear advantage in multitasking and running resource-intensive applications.

Your gpu usage was 99%. I'm not sure what's the point of comparing cpus, if we aren't comparing cpus.
THOSE WHO WANT TO BUY A 4070TI WITH ONE OF THESE PROCESSORS WILL FIND THE USE IN THIS VIDEO, WHO CARES ABOUT RAW CPU POWER AND SYNTHETIC BENCHMARKS OR 1080P RESOLUTION, PEOPLE WANT REAL RESULTS IN GAMING, THEY MOST INTERESTED IN WHETHER THEY WILL BOTLENECK OR NOT... AND THAT IS EXACTLY SHOWN, FROM 1% TO 5% BOTTLENECK.
Perfectly agree. I have the same gpu and rocking a 5800x3D and i only play at 2K or 5120 x 1440 resolution, and I am now thinking to upgrade my platform to get some more horsepower from my rtx 4070ti. Whoever buys this gear, is most likely gonna want to play intense hardcore games at eye candy details.@@borningame
@@borningame yeah but you could've just done 2 benchmarks, one in 4k and one in 1080p to showcase the difference between the cpus better.
I think tests across all 3 resolutions would've been the best. But he definitely showed that when you're gpu constrained the Ryzen 9 is much more interesting
