Last night, June 2nd, 2024, saw Vesko Panteleev-Eshkenazi as soloist and Sofia Philcharmony directed by Naiden Tododrov in a brilliant performance in Hall Bulgaria, Sofia, Bulgaria. They did: Spring by Vivaldi, followed by Summer - Piazzolla and then summer Vivaldi, autumn Piazzolla, autumn Vivaldi, winter Piazzolla, winter Vivaldi and ending by spring Piazzolla. What a wonderful idea to start and finish with spring! Brilliant soloist and brilliant director and orchestra.
Man, the musical arrangement îs Against music: Piazzolla îs Mozart in fact..but this arrangement is writen like the soloist is a trumpet or a machine gun, so: God is good, and blesses the composers and the ,,gifted" conductors with the ilusion of the talent...maybe the original arrangement is for chamber orchestra ? Și, the conductor.s ears where are they ?!
I had the privilege of seeing this played last night by the Thunder Bay symphony orchestra, led by Tom Cosbey; they freaking ROCKED! Blew my mind. I sing in the Thunder Bay symphony choir and we sang Vivaldi's Gloria during the show but this made the whole concert epic.
Impresionante!!
Cuz this piece originally is not for orchestra and violin. In fact, due to a lot of composers' arrangement and effort, Piazzolla's music is considered as serious music and classical music in contemporary period.
Such a messy interpretation. The soloist was rushing all the time, the orchestra was low energy and had so many mistakes. It seems like they never reharsed it before. Truly sad
@@camiloh2443 I can't, because its great that you have that standard for musicianship. I just don't think it's necessarily sad in this case because we don't know the conditions the orchestra had to work under. If the musicians were for example making $120 a service with only two rehearsals it's not feasible to put together a world class interpretation. And the soloist is so highly skilled on her instrument, this would be awesome to hear live just maybe not suited to be the top recording on youtube. Personally I find it almost impossible to play high energy when the entire orchestra's interpretation isn't clicking. It takes so much time and effort along with class to put together this music, that it just has to be backed by adequate rehearsal time, unless you are the Berlin Phil and employing the world's best musicians to play 7 concerts per week on minimal rehearsal. Fun fact I just won my first professional orchestra job and we're playing this with Lara St. John next week. I'm super lucky to be in it because its an amazing orchestra and will definitely play better than this recording. But we also have 5 rehearsals which is a lot for professional orchestral. I'm typing all of this because I want a break from practicing :p but yeah I have to do my part and learn this to the highest possible level
It's REALLY possible that many musicians in this orchestra have worked at an Mc Donald's to pay their bills while struggling to study a very hard instrument and pay for their lessons (like it is around the World). Maybe including you when you were a student. Or did you have a rich family? If yes, you should take your money and support the musicians working in terrible conditions but still doing it with love. So, if you can't recognize any mistake in your work, your comment is just an example of a very unfortunate day of your life. Please, stop saying bullshit and just learn to be a better person, a better human. If you are frustrated in your life, don't throw everything out on people. Go therapy.

Just saw this performed at the Seattle Symphony as a starter followed by Vivaldi's Four Seasons. Absolutely magic!!
sublime violoniste et avec M Piazzolla .
The best version in my heart.

What a combination---Piazzolla and Rusanda Panfili.
Soyoung Yoon
Who is the orchestra and who is the soloist??
Rusanda Panfili, Violin solo. Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra. It is shown at the start of the recording.
Rusanda Panfili

Piazzolla sin bandoneón es igual que amor sin sexo / Piazzolla whitout bandoneon i´ts the same of love relationshiph whithout sex
Beautifully played...
But I don't see the point in the arrangement of Desyatnikov, it breaks the flow of the music, not in rythm but in the feeling
Cuz this piece originally is not for orchestra and violin. In fact, due to a lot of composers' arrangement and effort, Piazzolla's music is considered as serious music and classical music in contemporary period.
I recommend you to listen to JumiKang's play. Can't listen to this performance.

they have no feeling, they are very bad. If they do not feel the music, go to work at a
Mc Donald´s
You are full of hatred. You blaspheme without any critics and you did it three times. Any non-musical reason ?
