I know nothing about clothes or shoes. I find it very interesting how knowledgeable you are in all of this. Going to the thrift stores and looking through clothes gives me anxiety. I do a lot of hard goods.... Knick knacks.... Things that make me sparkle. Looking forward to watching more.
Talking about clothing at the end , made me feel good. I am honed in on my clothing resale. I probably skip over a lotta good hard goods and that's ok. At estate sales people rush for those items, meanwhile I'm the only one , alone in an upstairs closet pulling dollar dollar bills off the racks, haha. Everything you mention about selling clothing is 100% right, if you know what to look for, quick and easy!!
...and clothing can be slipped into an envelope. Less expensive and easier to ship. :)

I saw your video about $3000 in sales per week. We can barely make $500. Usually it’s $ 200-300 per week. I know your super busy but if you have one piece of advice what would it be. I think a lot of people are like us. Who need to jump up to another level. I’m very excited we are about to go thrifting in Orlando. I Love Orlando yard sales. Hope we find good stuff. We go to local thrift stores there. Goodwill and Salvation Army. Hope you find good stuff thrifting too.

Consumer who doesn’t shop on eBay or sell there. It’s a great deal for someone who is not a reseller. I don’t do yardsales because I am a reseller myself unless I’m just wanting to take a loss on items to get rid of it.
Agreed. Can we stop going to people homes and dissing them online for knowing an items worth. They're not a business over pricing an item they are people who own and item and know what how much money they want to let their belongings go for.

I look on local news classifieds, craigslist, and facebook groups! I make a map of the best ones and go out the next morning treasure hunting. :)

I personally don't mess with cloths but clothing is a good item because it's more of an essential then a Rae Dunn cookie jar or glow in the dark stickers. So when this economy finally plummets people will have to decide cookie jar , glow stickers or shoes. Uuuh shoes duh. Your business won't be effected as much as someone selling non essential items. So i agree.
I totally agree with you, re higher priced things. They need to sell on eBay. I do both, eBay and have had many garage sales. I won't sell certain things at my garage sales, because it's just not going to fly. It will just be a headache and frustrate me and customers. For the most part, may be a exception, but still I would need to go lower if I expect to sell it at a garage sale.

I actually had an almost exact situation today with some ariat boots for $40. She was firm as well and tried to justify the price she was asking by saying it was selling for $200. Yea… $200 brand new. I checked comps after we left and they were going for exactly what she was asking.
Why should you be able to buy them low to make a profit and be annoyed when the owner wants to hold firm to at least make something for themselves?

I’m simply stating the flawed logic some of these garage sale owners have. They hold firm but then wonder why nobody bought them. They can run their sale however they want, they can also have fun bringing everything back inside at the end of the day lol…

Well simple answer to your question: not everyone is a reseller. So if they find them at a yard sake for $40 - why would they need to go on Ebay and pay $50???? No tax no shipping fees no waiting....duh?

The sellers have every right to sell their products for what they want. They aren’t there just for resellers! Sometimes you want things for nothing while the normal person would gladly buy at their prices.
Those Dooney & Bourke bags don’t look authentic. I’m a collector and they look plastic plus they have silver hardware and all vintage bags have brass. Look for the serial number tag inside, if there’s none they are fakes.
If I’m looking for something I WANT for ME, I’ll pay up… sometimes.. but if I’m looking for flips.. $40 is nutsy-cuckoo
