    Love it , and love the way every one is just going nuts thinking out the box. I'm building one using an old board and a foil mount thin plate mounted under the deck, then putting Hd foam stringers over the top at the width of the Fd gen 2 battery box.. using the foil mount the base of my mast will be about 15mm under my back foot..

    Great job as always. We at Stinger Boards & Foils in Whistler, Canada are also offering a "Trench" Foil Drive model, in a 5'2" and 4'11". The "Trench" is next level,, it's truly amazing how much quicker one can be up on foil, and there's less drag. 2025 is going to be so much fun, cheers !!

    Rob I took your advice about moving my fdrive forward and it was great but then I went to salt water and it seemed like I was getting even more lift because it was salt water and my foot was always in front of my foil which is not right could not pump kept stalling. Should I move my mast back or forward? I am thinking back because of the density of the salt water? Any input would be greatly appreciated love all the videos. Cheers, Joe

      @@joesmith3719 Hey Joe so yes go as far forward as you can then bump it back a touch . You could also try a smaller rear wing or use a negative shim . That heaps a lot to control excessive lift and give my hold .

    Maybe you could fabricate a piece of plastic that snaps into the front section to full gap.

      @@JoseCruz-vt5wp No we all shared it so no total time BUT the start is way faster so that will definitely lead to extra run time , I’ll do a full run this weekend. Just did a downwind today it was just fantastic.

    Why not put the FD in backwards and then you can remove the battery out the back

    • @Piros181
      @Piros181  Месяц назад +2

      Because then the motor cable is wrapped around the mast causing drag , we’ve tried it , it kills the performance

    Using a smaller foil sounds like one of the best advantages to the trench board.

      @@surfertbone4333 Just an up date I just flat water started the Code 600r , 615s & 680r . I was in Currumbin river mouth run out tide .
