Thanks a lot for your encourage!:) I really appreciate. As a new RUclipsr, seems difficult for me to do as most of those professional bloggers did. So I decided to just keep my simple way to handle it, then at least I can keep going:). I’m happy and flattered if there are people still like it despite my unprofessional videos! Good day!
You made some nice videos in here. The journey seems rather calming compared to a transport via air. I hope to make the same journey in februari. Do you always have to purchase your ticket at the harbor, or is it also possible to purchase them online? Greets from Holland
Thanks for watching.🙏 Unfortunately, online booking is still unavailable for foreigners. I've always held out hope for an upgrade at their website online booking system, but it hasn't happened yet. The online booking system on their website is currently only accessible to Indonesia ID holders. I noticed a WhatsApp logo on their site and attempted to chat with their online service, but language barriers hindered effective communication, and I eventually gave up. If you have a friend or a reliable travel agency in Indonesia, consider seeking their assistance. Provide them with a copy of your passport, make the payment , and they should be able to help you out. Personally, I prefer purchasing directly at Pelni local ticket center (In Jakarta is at Tanjong Priok, in Batam is at Sekupang) since I'm semi-residing in Indonesia. I just use their website for a shedule check. I'm sorry that it seems I wasn't come up with any help here.:) I once met a European tourist on the ferry and he told me his experience purchasing his Pelni ferry ticket. He sought assistance from hotel staff, asking them to recommend a trustworthy travel agency. After tipping the hotel staff, they successfully helped him secure a Pelni ferry ticket. Anyway, if it's your first time in Indonesia, opting for a flight might be easier for you. Booking flights online is the most convenient, after all. However, if you choose local transportation like ferries, it might require a bit of adventurous spirit. :) Good luck!
@@Lost-In-Indonesia As a tourist it will probably be fine, even if im stuck on Batam for one night it would be no problem since im not in a hurry. I have been in Indonesia several times. I have always been using flights to get from one island into another, but traveling by land is more adventurous. Also, my grandparents used to work in the Dutch east Indies before the war, they entered Java at Tanjung Priok at that time, i thought it would be nice to have a similar experience. Usually when i am in Indonesia i visit a lot of these historical/colonial sights.
Thanks for sharing the interesting trip:)
Thank you and hope you enjoy!:)
Glad i found your channel.
Very informative and well edited. It is like a therapy watching your videos.
