I remember the very first Summernats in 87 and me and a mate had gone down to Canberra. We had nowhere to stay so we thought we would just sleep in my car, a purple metallic XB Falcon, at the side of Northbourne Avenue. One morning that Mustang started up just down the road from where we were sleeping and it sounded like a shotgun going off. I've loved that car ever since and have followed its progression over the years. Absolutely brilliant to see this tribute. 👏

Good to see the old beast back I used to walk past it every morning on my way to school parked in the garage of the 24hr in Wagga over 30 years ago 😂😂

Garry is the King. To see it back in black is Gold. Would love to see the original engine set up back in it. Small block Windsor twin carbs & tunnel ram. SummerNats will go into meltdown when this hits the burnout pad.

This is epic, this car holds many memories for many people, so good to still see it out there and great to see it back to the original for a bit! Great work lads

This car is an iconic Aussie burnout machine that set the scene of what we have today!!!! So good to see it looking somewhat like it did in the day.

Is it the same car? As in Gary passed down GM176 to Jake and he rebuilt it into Sicko?

It's the same car and still has the flames under the wrap

I think we need new judges, the Myers family have had favouritism for to long. The sicko skids are average at best, if I rated the sicko skids it would be 5/10. Not worthy for the last 10 years everyone has been ripped off...

Gary Myers the King. I had posters all over my wall as a kid of that car
