I've got my November mocks soon and I realised how important revising is, for my year 10 mocks I didn't study at all and got 5s everywhere and even got into triple science but I'm stressed out that I used up all my luck now
luck doesnt matter at all queen, its all sheer hard work, dedication and discipline. It's time to go ghost and lock in, as a wise man once said, if you truly strive for success you must be obsessed with the process!
got my results today - overall 78! IM SO HAPPY! got an 8 in both physics papers and then 8s in both chem 1 and bio, and 7s in the paper 2s. your videos are because of that ❤ i can't thank you enough

yr11 physics higher mock tomorrow and have no clue what im doing have the time in this subject. these videos are so helpful for cramming last minute and are done in such a nice format! hoping i can pass this mock for once 😭
idk why bro re-uploaded this video but I watched this last night and literally everything he went through was on todays paper, thanks dude gonna get that 9 now 🎉🎉
you actually save me. My mocks tmr and im meant to be predicted a 9 but i havent revised at all, this video is a godsend. hopefully i get a good grade 🤞🤞
This and the chemistry video are so good! I think I did really well (in paper 1) all because of these videos. Biology isn't my strongest subject anyways but I definitely would've done worse without these - thankyou so much!
I’ve fallen really behind in my sciences for personal reasons and truthfully am not a stem person but your videos are very helpful! currently getting 5s but i’m gonna get that 7💪‼️
Thank you for this video it was very helpful, next year could you possibly make a video but like solely to teach 2025 gcses students all of the formula we need for physics?
only went to year 10 for like 1 month cuz i was in the hospital, mocks are in 5 hours and i haven't sleep yet. Remind me so i can give you guys an update
If the temperature increases or decreases in a circuit where you have a fixed resistor (which is the component he is talking about) the resistance from the resistor doesn’t change. This is because of how the component is made, meaning its resistance will always stay constant, despite temperature changes. If temperature affected a fixed resistor, it would make experiments inaccurate or difficult to draw conclusions from as there would be more than one factor affecting the experiments (temperature and the resistance from the resistor). Increased temperature in a circuit means that there is more frequent collisions between the electrons, which increases resistance. Temperature only affects resistors like the thermistor (as temperature increases, resistance decreases for this component). You can manually change the resistance of a variable resistor, which is useful for practicals where you are investigating the effects of a change in resistance, though this component is also not affected by temperature. Hope this helps, good luck with whatever you are studying for!
Got physics and history tomorrow, an appointment wasted a lot of my time I'd spend resting(all of it as I have history revision to do too.. Running on a few hours sleep doesn't help!! Teacher said to focus on electricity, I'd just say I'm screwed because it is confusing to me Will update, I hate physics though :) If I have time I am indeed watching both this and how to approach any electrical question one. 19/11 If I had watched more of the video I would've done better, i was too tired though. Also I skipped a few and yeah I think I did OK!
BRO WHAT THE HELL? WHY WOULD U NOT USE THE PROPPER TERM AND USE EITHER CELL OR BATTERY? LIKE BRO THE HELL? (jk ofc beutiful video helped me with my mocks a ton)
~UPDATE~ IT WAS A 2021 PAST PAPER, some people had the mark scheme I didn't, but the specific heat capacity question I flopped and one about density, 😖 but in conclusion, the video really helped tbh cos I remembered stuff that was said in the video

I got my physics mock tomorrow, this video coming in mad clutch. Thank you as always Science Shorts!

Is there any ways you would recommend to revise? What would help to remember information for longer? Great video btw it has helped a lot!
i use past papers quite a bit, they let you use the knowledge you have from revising in a way that replicates exams
