This will increase your chance of success

There's only one way to increase your likelihood of success. It's not talent, it's not knowledge, it's not time.
It's quantity of outputs. Simply put, more successful people put out more bodies of work because it increases the odds that success will be accomplished. It also allows them to get feedback so they can continue to refine their craft and create things that people want.
So quit letting one thing dishearten you. Try something new. Stay in the saddle and create more outputs.
