First, I would check the bore of the arm to make sure there is no damage to it. And if there is damage to the bore, fix it. Then freeze the ball joint and heat the arm. Also use the right spacers to press that contact the arm and the ball joint. Maybe a deep well socket will fit better. If you try to use anything that doesn't fit the surfaces square and leaves clearance, you take the chance of the ball joint going in crooked. Same thing when you press in bearings.
Well, thankfully this is done....now do the other side

Thank you so much for watching and thank you for being a regular on my channel. I really appreciate it. This is my daily driver and it is the breadwinner for now since I use it for driving Lyft., the left side for some reason was the worst. I checked the right side. It’s better than the left, but it still needs to be done obviously but for now I need to drive and make some money.
Thank you for your tips in how to install the bowl joint, freezing double joint and heating up the arm would definitely help with things going in smoothly since one would buy freezing shrink the metal and by heating will expand it that would work a lot better,
my brother does this type of work for a living and he actually knows how to do everything, but I decided to do it myself and see if I could get it done but afterwards I gave him a call and explain to him what I have done, and he told me the same thing that I needed to freeze the ball joint and heat up the arm then things would go in smoothly.
This sounds like common sense now that I know it. I don’t know why I didn’t think of it before, but like I said this was my first time. This was my experience, even though I know how to do other Mechanic stuff. I do not know everything and I still need to learn , a lot of stuff. Most of the work I do on this channel. I know how things work in theory and I just do it. Some work is common sense at least for me while other work requires a little bit more effort and know how and experience does help.
As far as the right side have all of the pieces that I need I also ordered two more ball joints since I broke one of them next time I do this, I will use the freezing and heating method.
But now I need to focus on some other cars that I have and just take care of some of the stuff like my Range Rover needs some work minor work.
And also, I would like to fix my BMW X5 and start driving Uber and Lyft using that it’s a seven passenger.
Also, this year I plan to do an engine swap install 2010 engine into 2012 Mercedes sprinter van and I do need to figure out the 2003 my mobile mechanics van the starting issue that I had and some other stuff that I will work on soon

@@ZimaletaMotors you sound busy. I had to rebuild my sprinter engine because it failed. I believe the head gasket, which is metal and poorly designed, allowed oil to leak and starved a rod bearing which the debris from the bearing clogged the oil pump, setting off a complete failure. I was planning on rebuilding this engine but I was off schedule, so didn't get to it in time. It made the rebuild harder. Then I had an issue with my transmission because the torque converter was not pushed in all the way even though I thought it bottomed out. Then the transmission jack I bought from HF was defective which caused more problems. I still have an issue, but with my cheap scanner, I can't determine the exact cause as of yet. It's my EGR, or it is a signal to the EGR. It is opening up too soon, but I don’t know why just yet. I also has a Chinese turbo cartridge, not sure how long that will last, might have to replace that soon. Vehicles are a lot of work, most people don't understand this because they just drive lol

I just don't get it how many people break thesetools doing ball going I have had my OG HFT ball joint press 25yrs! and has done thousands of joints...still going strong.. Remember heat is your friend as well as cold... And always grease the main screw every time you use it.

That is smart advice thankfully I did not break the tool itself. However, my ball joint lip broke off, so I found a different way to install it. I agree he is your friend as well as the cold next time I’m going to put a ball joint in the freezer overnight, and I’m going to heat up the actual before install
