About Sri Anandamayi Ma:
Sri Anandamayi Ma (1896-1982) was a Self-realized Guru, a great saint and one of the most influential spiritual illuminaries of the 20th Century.
Her devotees ranged from prime ministers to renowned saints to humble villagers. Although virtually uneducated, Ma spoke with the authority of direct experience and mesmerized all with her ethereal beauty, sweetness and grace.
A free spirit, she wandered all over the country showering her love and tender care on everyone. Across India, several ashrams, established and dedicated in her name, today serve as sanctuaries for spiritual seekers.
Wherever she went, miracles followed in her wake. From suddenly appearing at the bedside of a dying woman… to breathing life into an ant crushed thoughtlessly underfoot, everything was manifested effortlessly and graciously through Ma.
She never unveiled to others exactly who or what she was. Nevertheless, the people who came in contact with her saw a Divine Personage living amongst humanity, raising the fundamental vibration of the world around her by her mere presence. Her constant care and awareness of those who were drawn to her was never limited to the few who were in her physical presence at any given time. Her influence continues today for all who have the faith to invoke her presence in their lives through the inner contact. She herself remained always humble and never accepted adulation or worship but only lived to invoke the awareness of the One in everyone she came in contact with.
The central theme of all her words and expressions is this: Life and religion are one. All that you do to maintain your life, your everyday work and play, all your attempts to earn a living, should be done with sincerity, love and devotion, with a firm conviction that true living means virtually perfecting one’s spiritual existence in tune with the universe. To bring about this synthesis, religious culture should be made as natural and easy as taking our food and drink when we are hungry and thirsty.
Great yogi and enlightened master Swami Sivananda Saraswati of the Divine Life Society described her as "the most perfect flower the Indian soil has produced."

So powerful. I’m Norwegian and live far from India. But.....anandamayi ma is my spiritual mother, I have an altar for her where I everyday sit and do mantras and pray. I also study her teachings. In a very short time she have helped me to feel Gods love for me, and I can feel her presence so strong when I look at her picture and ask for her guidance and help . I wish there where other people I could do mantras and study with, but for now I work with her alone. When that is said, I know there are others who look to her as their spiritual guide and I love you all....
Maybe you can start a study group/mantra group. Put an ad in the newspaper and signs on store windows (with permission) trees etc. Ask Ma to bring you the students

It's a great shame that only a FEW can reach Enlightenment and experience themselves as God/Shiva/Brahman, as everything everywhere. To me, it sure seems that you must plan the enlightenment experience BEFORE birth, because once you are HERE it is incredibly impossible to reach such a state.
Words do nothing!…People will never believe in something they cannot see or experience!….They cannot see or experience God…many, many Messengers, Masters, Yogi’s & Guru’s have come….yet the human race continues to devolve and lose hope! We will need a hundred Jesus’s, a hundred Buddha’s, a hundred Babaji’s to all come at once in EVERY country!

I was suffering from an unwanted situation ... but after seeing this video I understood that the unwanted situation is God that I have to love, accept and have compassion. I told God that I have Faith in Him and in His Power. I surrender to Him with all my heart and soul ... I stopped suffering because I began to see things differently. If we know he is inside and whithin and let him do everything for us suddenly you realise the existence of second person in your body and mind then we become one ! Before god realization I fight with myself as if a guy is in me and I ignored I used drugs to calm down but soon drug became my boss and never got high oh oh only an addict understand me you see the hell really when drug is not before you oh oh. Ahay people be grateful to be non addicted one!! And to other addicts in india I'm Iranian and vedantic culture helped me greatly there's something in your hands dear Indians .it is a bliss to born indian

This is a great video made so much sense. Obviously the suffering that's been going on so long causing anxiety and depression has made me search for answers. I brought me to this video which is truly a spiritual Awakening. But the question iswhy did I have to suffer so much as a child why did I not have the correct parents. I would have rather not have been born. But maybe the lack of love from my mother and father is why I am such a good person to other people today and I love deeply. I have so much empathy for others That I end up getting drained.
I agree with you. I was also born to an abusive household and experienced a very troubled childhood and teenagehood, but at the end I think that is what impulses us to become better persons.
Regarding feeling drained, why don't you work on shielding and protecting your heart Chakra?
All those circumstances led to your inner evolution. It was all for your good. Walk the path you will rewarded soon. That's how it is for
all of us.
Coz now i understand this, and feel so blessed that I faced all those childhood difficulties . Remember when it's not your way it's God's way.
It may be cause of past lives. Prarabhda. Tell god to forgive you.ask for bhakti .do this 3 times a day for lifetime.

You are that supreme being 😉 I look at suffering as just another part of this cosmic play of maya. It makes things interesting and let's us appreciate the good things. If all was good then there would be no such thing as good and that's why I embrace duality. It's just as perfect to me as non duality. Getting lost in maya is a beautiful thing. And being awake in maya is also a beautiful thing. I don't believe the goal is moksha. You are already that. You are already eternity, deathless, and bliss. So why not try to forget who we are and get lost in this play. While you're in it, it may seem like a prison with suffering..but being self realized .. you realize the play is actually perfect. I'm just rambling..good content brother. Keep up the good work.

If only there was magic path to send us strait to Him, all the suffering we could then avoid. Why are we so lost in our own mind ? This infinite puzzle has hunted me all my life. It's one thing to intellectualize wisdom, it's a totally different ballgame to integrate it.
It's because of the suffering that the desire to go to Him is born in your heart . If you had experience nothing but happiness in all your life , would you have wished to find him so badly ? Most likely you would have indulged in worldly pleasures .
If an enlightened person or God himself tells us there is only sorrow , running after materialistic pleasures we nod , ignore and continue seeking materialistic pleasures .. money , relationships , more comforts for body ..
We listen but do not really trust . It's only after we have experienced it ourselves , then we can believe the world has no lasting happiness to offer us . The lasting happiness is in Him . Saints don't ask , wasn't I telling you exactly the same thing before you wasted all this time ? Because they know , we need to see this for ourselves otherwise we cannot truly believe .
Only when you are one hundred percent sure the world has nothing to offer you , you turn to seek God with your whole mind . God wants our whole mind .. If it is interested in other things like relationships , comforts , financial security , worries , concerns , it is an insult to Him . He does not get angry of course but we can't realize Him until we can fully let go of all these things .
We can't do this on our own . We are literally deluded and blind .. We can't even see the path .. Ask Him with all your heart - Lord clear my vision , I'm a blind child who can't see the path , nor do I know how to walk .. I'm stumbling on every step and I have no idea if I am walking in the right direction at all .. I'm your child.. Now I am relying on thee to get me on the right path ; path that will take me to you .. Make sure I reach you .. Remove all the obstacles those are keeping me from reaching you .. I can't lift a stone on my own , let alone pass these obstacles .. I'm totally in your hands .. It's your responsibility now to make sure I reach you , not mine . Make sure I don't wander off and get lost in temptations and ignorance .. Just make sure I reach you . Pray this with whole heart . And any suffering which come in your life after that , don't get angry with God . It's him removing the obstacles from your path .. Ask for strength to endure the trial .. Ask him if I'm gonna suffer on this wretched path then be it , but you are gonna stay with with me at every step .. Don't you dare abandone me in the middle .. He will listen .
But it will take courage to make this prayer ..
@@namrata9218 not many can bear the suffering for realisation. That is why the maharishis said this path is like walking on the razor's edge. So sharp. Very few walk it. Others have knowledge according to their level. They become gurus. But still they remain on a lower level. Easy to spout "book" knowledge but personal realisation? I salute you for your advice here. May it clear some seekers misunderstandings and doubts.
