- Today I repaint my Clone Trooper armour, changing from the 212th to the 104th 'Wolfpack' under Commander Wolffe. This was a great little project to refresh and revitalise this costume.

Painting is the best part for me! Building the armor is fun but painting is when you can bring it all together! Looking forward to your helmet!

Have you worn TK armor before? I have a stormtrooper kit completed and always wanted to do a clone for the 501st but I hate wearing all that plastic. I’m curious if the clone is more or less restrictive than a TK.
Personally never worn a stormtrooper, but by all accounts that I've heard; clones are more restrictive....mainly because the armour was never designed to be worn (only CGI), unlike stormtrooper armour which at least had people in it
@@BucketheadStudios Thanks for the reply. That’s a bummer. Always wanted a clone but if I can’t take a TK I probably won’t be able to do a clone either. That’s why I have my trusty Imperial Gunner.
Yeah it is a shame. Always something like a Phase 2 clone pilot. I have heard that the animated style armour is a little easier to wear, less pieces. Yeah my Inferno Squad costume was super comfy!
My animated phase 2 is super easy to move in. I can sit in the back seat of a car in it, I’ve done it twice and I can run in it a good bit. I can’t bend over though like to pick something up off the ground

Neither, its vacuum formed abs
What helmet kit is that? looks resin but maybe fiber glass?

Hey got a quistion i want to get into making my own clone armour but i have no place where i can use spray paint since i life in a appartement any sugestions ?
If there is nowhere outside you can use (even friends/family/space at work), you'll need to set up some kind of spray booth inside, with ventilation to outside. Spray paint will smell no matter what. An alternative is getting familiar with an airbrush, but has a similar problem. I have a small collapsible spray booth that has a fan to such the fumes out the back, with a hose chucked out the window
