    Thanks again for nice videos! I think you should make special videos just for 3D printer modeling..... so I don't want to watch sheetmetal stuff that I don't do....etc. Keep up the great work!

      Hi Tony Fleming Thank you for watching!
      What specifically do you want to see with 3D printing? What troubles do you run in to?

    Kudos to the development team for that change to the tool editor

    Thnx Lars. The Flange dialog box on my screen is too narrow so i can not see (and change) the values of the material (thickness, K-factor ....). Is the width of the dialog boxes also a setting?

    • @cadcamstuff
      @cadcamstuff  6 лет назад

      Hi Eric Van der Steen Thank you for watching! In the upper left of the dialog box you will find two (very) small vertical lines. You can drag the dialog box size there.

    Wish they would have a print from whatever area of Fusion 360 you are and have a print to scale option as well like a lot of other CadCam systems do

    Gidday Lars :) Sorry to bother you but I'm struggling with trying to join a sculpted object (like a box) to the outside face of a Torus so it flows from one to the other, i.e. I'm sculpting the box to match the outside face of the Torus but how do I bridge/join/loft them to make one body. I'm trying to join to only a small section of the torus's outside circumference e.g a 90 degree segment.Appreciate your time :)

      Hi buddwieser Thank you for watching!
      You can merge to open edges, but remember that sculpt will always create curvature, so your shape will most likely be changed. You could also go out of the sculpt environment and join it as bodies or surfaces as we have done on the livestreams a few times
      Best,
      Lars

      Many thanks Lars I may have over simplified my question, I'm stretching out the box into quite a long shape like an aeroplane and joining the torus on either like nacelles, so I'm trying to join the torus to only a small area, when I go back into model the whole side of the fuselage becomes a face way to big to join to the torus. Can I create a face the size and shape I want on the large sculpt fuselage in model to restrict the loft surfaces and maintain the shape.
      Thanks again for your time :)

      You could just cut a hole in the big surface abnd use that....I belive :-)

    ola, o meu processo não deu certo, na hora de usar o patterns, diz que eu tenho que separar os dois lados! como posso resolver este problema? segui seu passo a passo, mas o meu deu este problema na hora de deixar plano, por conter 2 partes, so fica plano quando eu excluo o outro lado

    • @cadcamstuff
      @cadcamstuff  6 лет назад +1

      Hi Bruno Oliveira Thank you for watching!
      Not sure what causes this. Did you unfold or use flat pattern?

    • @brunoartemoderna
      @brunoartemoderna 6 лет назад

      muito obrigado por responder, quando vou usar o modo plano, não funciona quando faço a combinação de 2 peças, mas se eu desconectar as peças, ai ele vai para o modo plano

    I made a short test with this new flow toolpath. It generates no good toolpath i think. There are many zig zag moves. With 3D contour it look much better.
