Hayat like i said we need your brains, may allah(swt) keep you strong habib
Small world. سبحان الله I just met this dear brother yesterday.
MashaAllah. Br. Saajid, your interviewing skill is on point. You are able to ask the right questions and steer your guests in the relevant direction always, and I appreciate that. Usually when I feel that the guest should have elaborated on a certain topic, you come thru with asking just that. MashaAllah. May Allah preserve you and Br. Hayat as well.
Amazing. Inspiring
Love from madina

Muslims:
- Rise Up!
Saajid could you tell us what you’ve been doing as you talked about finally having the time to do the interview. Mujahid said that you’re busy. Is it the school? If so can you make a video showing the potential buildings or something?
My brother Sajid, I see a lot of American tourists coming to Saudi Arabia and praising the culture of the people, security, etc. This is a good thing and one of the benefits of opening tourism to Saudi Arabia.
But they often say that Saudi Arabia has oppression of women, gay rights, etc.
I believe that these tourists must have cultural sophistication by respecting the freedoms of other conservative peoples who do not want to be liberal countries and do not want to lose their religion, culture, moral values, and customs for the sake of Western legislators who suddenly decided to pass laws that destroy the structure of the family and American society.
I think that American and Western tourists need your advice not to try to impose Western laws and culture that are unacceptable in our Islamic societies, and to accept the idea that the earth has room for everyone and that every people has freedom in what they believe in, in terms of laws, moral values, or even customs that they are proud of.
Important question: my parents can't afford sending me to Saudi for studying. Is it free to study at Madinah University for foreign students?
Yes, if you get scholarships to cover the expenses.
If you apply to study at the Islamic University of Madinah and you get accepted, the university will pay for your flight from your destination to Madinah.
The university will pay you 840 riyals at the end of every month.
You will also get an additional stipend if you get an honor roll.
Every summer, the university will pay a round trip ticket for you to travel to your country.
There are free buses to the prophet’s masjid every week from the university.
However, know that once you arrive in Madinah as a new student, it will take at least a couple of months before they give you your stipend and Iqamah so it's best if you brought enough money with you to help you survive for the first few months.
Also, know that the 840 riyals will be sufficient for a single student but he needs to know how to manage his money. The majority of the western students spend their stipend within the first week and then they are left without any for the rest of the month.
In the end, my advice would be not to be worried about the money so much at this time. Pray Istikharah and apply. Allah will make a way out for you In Shaa Allaah.
Also, train yourself to have so much patience. If you don't have patience, you will not be able to survive in Saudi.
@@HayatMarsobrother what does "western" have anything to do with spending the stipend in the first week? Why is there always this negativity towards muslims from non-muslim countries
