Well, in this video I will be showing you guys not only a day in a life, but an entire week in a life of a Madinah Student. I will start from Sunday, the first day of our school week, till Thursday, the last day. Each day will be revolved around a specific tip that I learned throughout my short time in Madinah. Great video! I see you were taking notes in Arabic, dId you learn the Arabic keyboard layout? Also, when you read the three usool book, what's your process for making sure you are understanding the Arabic? I see it didnt have an accompanying English translation.

I didn’t learn it too well yet. It takes some time to learn to be honest but Alhamdulilah. In terms of reading, for me what I do is, since I know a bit of Arabic, I read it till I get to a word I don’t know and then I look that word up and write it down. I also have the book itself in English on my laptop so if I’m completely lost I look at that. That’s my process. I also take notes in a notebook and i sometimes write some words I don’t know in there as well

I know u haven't asked me and it's actually against adab to answer a question that was posed to some1 else, but I hope u don't mind.
I'm currently trying to learn arabic, and I can tell u from my experience, (I'm learning/have learned multiple languages like spanish, english etc.), that Arabic is sooo easy to learn compared to the other languages. I rly don't understand why it's ranked the hardest Language to learn. Perhaps it was done by K@f!rs who try to make people flee from learning their deen by studying arabic.
On the channel "The beauty of islam in short videos" there's a playlist where a graduate from medina uni teaches the Madina book 1. It's rly good, easy to understand, but u have to be able to read arabic with harakat and also write (but that's simple aswell, many YTube vids. available).
Also do watch lectures (even if they're short 1-3 min. clips) of our Shaykhs and scholars with subtitles. That's what helped me the most by Allah's permission.
These are some of the Advices that our scholars always give when someone wants to gain islamic knowledge: Stay away from sinning and overdoing the mubah (permissible acts), strive and make lots of Dua and Dhikr. And remember the Hadith as a constant motivation: "Whoever follows a path to seek (islamic) knowledge, Allah will make the path to Jannah easy for him." Sahih Muslim 2699
I add to it: when you start to feel demotivated sometimes remind yourself of the Hadith above and watch vids. where our Shuyukh mention the virtues of knowledge, the rewards for the one who seeks it, vids. of reprimendation etc.

I don't know. There are many Quran classes in the harem; however most of them focus on review and memorization
Brother how are you able to study fiqh and all if you dont know arabic? Do the teachers explain sometimes in eng for those who are struggling in arabic?
The first two years you study Arabic and then you get to specialize in something (like fiqh) but no they don’t explain anything in English. There might be a teacher who knows English, but a lot of understanding the words is done in your own for the first level of Arabic. Once you get to the second level, it becomes a lot easier Inshallah

And, is it compulsory to take the Arabic classes before starting your degree. How long do the Arabic classes take? What's the medium of instructions please?
It’s only compulsory if you don’t speak arabic

Alaykum Assalam. From what I know, there isnt really any minimum requirment. But you have to apply with your high school degree, NOT college degree. I got a bachelors as well but they only wanted the high school degree and grades

Just go and sit. For Quran you gotta sign up if you wanna take a Quran memorization class

The Madinah University is only for men. Though there are other universities in KSA for women which teach the deen.

Isn’t Muhammad Hijab a philosopher?
No he is not a philosopher
He’s pursuing a phD in philosophy and the contingency argument for God’s existence. He uses mostly philosophical arguments in his da’wah.
@@ibnMuharis. Mohammad hijab uses philosophy for dawah. It’s the same when zakir naik uses the Bible to make dawah to Christians. I wouldn’t say zakir naik is therefore a Christian for using Christian theology. Hijab uses philosophy to bring people to Islam and he knows philosophy but he’s a Muslim not of the people of philosophy. To some he might be a philosopher like ibn taymiyyah to some was a philosophy because he used philosophy.
@@petritkola so he's not of ahlul kalam? Brother the fact that he uses philosophy in his da'wah MOST of the time instead of the Quran and Sunnah says something about him. His delving into philosophy has also led him to become astray and say absurd things. For example, recently he just compared Allah with his attributes (a face, hands, etc.) to a man and claimed that it is Hinduism! A'uthubillah
Also, Zakir Naik uses the Bible to show Christians that some things in it prove Islam to be true and that Jesus (peace be upon him) is not God. His use of the Bible and Hijab's use of philosophy cannot be compared when the Salaf clearly told us to stay away from philosophy and its dangers..
@@ibnMuharis. ibn taymiyyah used philosophy too does that mean he is OF ahlul Kalam. Look brother you can not like mohommad hijab but when you say "this brother is like this" then that's an assumption and if your wrong then you have to answer to Allah. Mohommad hijab is a Muslim who memorized the Quran and has guided many people to Islam. He is not ahlul Kalam. Have you also seen the video where he said he doesn't like listening to these philosophers and would rather listen and learn the world of Allah? Does that sound like ahlul Kalam?
