Grand Wazoo was one of the few albums in my collection that my father chaced to hear. He actually said that it was pretty good, and he was impressed by the big band sound. This is my Zappa moment (transformation).
There's a coincidence - Uncle Meat was the one that started my lifetime obsession - I thought everyone at school would love it, so brought it in to play. After the 1st track they just stared with an expression of puzzlement as if they thought it was a joke...I've seen that expression many times since! Have you ever noticed Dweezils name on the inside cover of Chungas?
I have been following you Bill for quite a while, but I just found these gems part 1 and 2 of you (at the time) Zappa collection. Also loved your Zappa style facial hair
klicking one step back and klickin in on your part two is too long time. Freez meeeee. Epic video. Awesome to see your zappa collection and great knowledge!
Hooked for life, since hearing Freak Out in a UK record shop. Trouble Every Day did it for me. Bought the lot on import. Sold off my vinyl collection some years ago, but started collecting Frank again when EMI started bringing out his CDs. Still at it all those years later. Once you get it, you'll never get off the bus.

If anyone has the "Weasels Ripped My Flesh" vinyl can you help me out!? I need to know how the word "Memorial" is spelled on the actual record label (not the sleeve) for the song Eric Dolphy Memorial Barbecue. It's on side 2 I think. I know it's random, just need to find out if I have a misprint or not.. can't get the info anywhere!

Good upload. Keeping FZ alive and vibrant.
Lumpy Gravy is a god-damned masterpiece. When Civilization Phaze III came out, it was marketed as some kind of follow-up, but pathetically fell short.
thanks for making my day!! Forgot about a few of those, especially some of the orchestral stuff which I'm into at the moment.

The UK first pressings of Only in it for the Money have the uncensored versions of songs

I've seen pictures of that cover! If I ever see one in person, you know I'll snap that up. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Been wondering where to find the "Mother People" uncensored version, I had only seen it on "Video From Hell." Really enjoyed these videos man!
Wonderfully done! I love Zappa so this is a real treat. I also have the 200 gram Hot Rats as well as a test press. Looking for part 2. Cheers/hd

I wish you lived in the apartment next door to mine. But I'll do the next best thing, which is to subscribe.
We need a movie where Thornobulax fights the Grand Wazoo... Just saying...
