I remember reading about this in the Comics Journal. Gary Groth wrote an editorial that was titled something like "WAP: Creators' rights or the sound of bullshit hitting a wall?"
This is amazing. I'm somewhat apalled by the lack of comments. Maybe it is too inside baseball, but I teach a business course at a school of visual arts and I can't tell you how great all this info is. I pimp your direct-to-consumer business model to my students a lot, I'll be sharing a bunch of these WAP pieces with my students for sure.
Is it me or this kind of publication Is still needed today?
Ed , you need to print RED ROOM on newsprint like what Jim did for the black and white edition of Octoberina!
Wow, a whole generation gone because someone ASKED about healthcare! Pretty heartbreaking.
About this time was when the Charlton guys, Steve Skeates, Denny O'Neil, Jim Aparo etc. came over to DC. Lots of job openings for some reason.
Just found this. The viewer count is astounding. This is a massive piece of history immortalized now on the channel. I’m only a fan and not at all ‘in the business,’ but still super jealous of Jim’s printed version.

Do you guys have any of those Comicbook Reader's, I guess they were a zine, used to find them in the bargin or misc. section?
