Cain, the Eduardo Risso book, first ran here in Argentina on Fierro magazine around 1987 (kinda our version of Metal Hurlant/Heavy Metal, sort of). It's early Risso's work, so you'll probably notice that his artwork is more detailed than the more Miller-esque work at 100 Bullets. The script it's kinda a metaphor of Argentina's politics and social turmoils of those years, so you'll probably miss some of that stuff when reading it, but anyways it's a fun cyberpunk comic, you'll probably enjoy it.
Love Steve Bissette’s work on Moore’s Saga of the Swamp Thing. Will have to check his Tyrant self published work. Thanks for sharing.
Love the enthusiasm you both show when going through comics... mainly because it's rare for me to see others feel the same as I do about comics. Keep up the great work, fellas!
Love those old Golden Micronaut issues. They're forever on my bargin bin rescue list.

I thought I was the only one who remembered Mike Parobeck. Great stuff.
It's really cool seeing where you guys get your influences from. The coloring is one of my favorite things about X-Men grand design, surprising the whites come from an iron Man book.
Exo Squad is THE most underrated of the early 90's saturday morning cartoons. still one of my favorites. characters developed and people died, which was a departure from the gi joe cartoon.
Great video guys! Ricardo "el loco" Barreiro, the writer of Caín, is a legendary Argentine screenwriter, he worked in the past with many great artists, Juan Giménez, Enrique Alcatena, Juan Zanotto, Eduardo Risso and many others, unfortunately he died in 1999
still laughing about Ed's solicitation of R. Crumb stuff
Gorgeous Robert Crumb work.
Micronauts is the shit! Mantlo wrote the entire first series (along with Rom). Both books kept going long after the toys were forgotten. Really fun stuff!
propeller man and tyrant look awesome
Cinebook are a UK based publisher that translate various European series into English. They've put out a diverse range of stuff so it's definitely worth checking them out.
Love this SHIT! Keep it going!
This made me realize how lacking I am in R.Crumb. I don't know half of what he's done, I keep seeing new things and I'm blown away all the time. Also that Bissette Tyrant comic looks amazing, just never ran across it, gotta put those feelers out, put it on the long list of gets.
You’re right Ed. That mask was trying to figure out how to ink. It was not ready for prime time but Happy to see the my 1st set of comics On the show! Xoxo
That was some trip down memory lane. I forgot how incredible those JRJR issues of Iron Man looked.
Yeah- Space Riders was under Black Mask
That A1 cover has Warpsmiths on it! Finder is a great series. Love the indexi.
