What an amazing interview with Carol, captain of the 1971 Women's World Cup Squad. She shares her story of representing the country at the age of 19 and leading her team out onto the Azteca stadium in Mexico with a crowd of 97,000. It has been such a pleasure to hear about her experiences playing football as a young girl and whilst serving in the RAF. A true pioneer of women's football in England.

I am fortunate to know of this historical event, yet Carol has given so much back story to what actually happened. I would like to echo what Carol said about Harry Batt ... He Was a Female Football Empower ... SHAME on The Women's Football Association for banning him for Life !.
