Mexiko is amazing but its gotten so expensive…. Big cities like Tijuana, Guadalajara and CDMX are way more expensive now than Medellin. I have been to Medellin and would say its at least 30% cheaper. Usa forget about it 😅

Yes....do NOT buy in Colombia after you have lived here for at least 2 years. NEVER purchase sobre planos unless you know 100% it is solid...and that is extremely difficult to find.
Do NOT purchase in Colombia until you've lived here for at least 2 years. AirBnBs are being banned in several cities in Colombia. Places will stay on the market for many months and/or years before they will finally sell...so renting is difficult too. The ROI is very low, and tenents have a lot of 'rights' that make it difficult for the owner. If any damage is done, you will NOT get your money back...even if you have insurance, it will take years. This is not as easy as Medellin Buzz is talking about. Highly doubt he only paid $80k for an apartment in Poblado...one of the most popular areas in Medellin.
It's funny to hear people talk about Medellín like they talk about Ibiza, Barcelona, Lisboa, Dubrovnik, Miami, and all these popular places It's still a dangerous city with lots of crime, where narcos have a strong foothold Not to mention the lazy police and growing contempt for foreigners
@@MedellinBuzz Good on you for being honest Most who advertise Medellín on social media bring up all the positives and leave out negatives (especially on TikTok and short videos) I wouldn't like a inexperienced 20-something year old thinking it's a good idea to go there for a first solo trip
@@user-of5kc2fy9o Yeah, it's definitely a great city, many visit and have a great time. A minority don't, we've gotta inform everyone on all possibilities.

Yes there is, for the rest of the amount you open an investment account in a fiduciary and invest the money at 11% yearly interest. The government takes the investment there into account for the visa process.

Thank you very much for that comment
I like Medellin and Colombia but after enough travels I think I prefer Eastern Europe and Thailand.
Why?
Who wouldn’t want Russian or srounding counties girls accompanying you?

Yes, commissions are at a 3% split between the buyer and seller's agent.

Great Video! Are there any 1 bed room Apartments around 60-70k USD in the area of Astorga, Patio Bonito o Manila?
I haven’t seen any. Most apartments in Manila are 3 bedrooms and up.
Noo not that area .. expensive there ufff maybe envigado or sabaneta
@@jonasworldwide7718 yes or Belen and parts of laureles.
I agree not in those areas. You will have to look into other areas to find that price range.
with an apartment costing 80k, that doesn't qualify for the investor visa. is there a way around that?
You can either up your budget or apply for a different type of visa, like the student visa. I advise talking to a visa attorney.
