I heard the beds on Celebrity are more comfortable than Royal's beds. We have cruised on Royal but have a Celebrity cruise coming up. What do you think?
Thank you for all the great information. I have a question. I went into my celebrity app and went into the dining portion and couldn’t find any menus for the MDR. I would like to book one specialty dining night but don’t know which day to give up in the MDR.
I doubt the cruise line can re-use your mattress topper for other guests.. so are you just leaving a mattress sized piece of trash that the cabin steward has to dispose of? It won't exactly fit in their trash receptacle.
Maybe you're right but maybe not. Perhaps you should research that before calling him out. For all you know, they can just add the topper to their inventory. It's not like the ones they have are single use. Or it could be that someone on the crew could use it. Or...tossing it out isn't that big of a deal. Point is, you don't have enough info to be all salty with the guy.
Thanks for your comment, I don’t do anything without researching and calling the cruise line. I have also asked the hotel directors when we are on cruises. They have a process of cleaning the egg crates in-between each use for passengers and I have been told by the cruise line and the hotel director they would use the same process on the ones I have left. If my cabin attendant didn’t want them and one hotel director said if they don’t want them I guarantee I can find about a 100 crew members that would want it. Also I offer to my cabin steward if interested as they are top of the line mattress toppers, and the two times we have brought them on Royal both cabin attendants asked me if they could have them. I can’t sleep on Royal Caribbean’s beds as they are awful to me, and this a solve that the cruise line and the crew members aren’t worried about. In fact most seem to think it’s 100% normal and most of my cabin attendants want to put it on the bed for us but we do it ourselves so they don’t have more work on day 1. Once again thanks for watching and I appreciate your comment.
@@JaysonJudson I may be wrong, but I believe they quit using/providing the mattress toppers with the pandemic due to there be no way to appropriately sanitize them and I don't think they have or will bring back the use of them. Would a cabin attendant want it? Maybe, but I also think that they would never imply that it was inconvenient that you are leaving it behind, either. I own several of these and I am very familiar with how awkward they can be - that's why you don't wan to take it back home with you. They don't fold up and they are big. Leaving them for the staff to deal with (yes, I am picturing the cabin attendant trying to maneuver their cart while also wrestling that topper into an elevator..) I think it is inconsiderate, those folks work really hard and IMHO it is increasing the workload.
Jayson, sleep is most important. We just came back from our first MSC cruise and we could not sleep because the bed size is a Queen. This was our 38th cruise and the first ever that didn't provide King size (two twins). Will probably never sail MSC again. Spoke to the service desk and they said only Yacht Club have King, way too much money.
Yacht Club is the best deal on the open seas. Half the price of suites on other lines with more benefits. Don't take my word for it though, try it for yourself and see!

Great list!!
Thank you, great tips and super advice that we will be using on our upcoming trip 😀
Jonny Rockets in Nov. 2023, on RC Wonder was nothing to write home about! I'm just glad we did not have to pay extra for it.

Thanks for the packing list bro!
I have a RC book and the says I can book my anytime dining time until on the ship.
You can. However, times fill up. If you wait, the only available time might be 5 o'clock.
The Princess app will not allow you to double book dinner
I miss the old app because we could actually have 2 reservations.
Thanks for the information
Great points! Great video!
Great tips.
We've eaten at Johnny Rockets for breakfast, it was great!

What about using a vacuum pack bag for it?

It's really not that complicated
